Lupkes won that match. Denis slipped first time on purpose because he was about to be pinned he admitted in his interview latter. Second was elbow up for Denis and Lupke won 2nd.

If you could somehow measure measure the force in pounds during armwrestling, Richard would come out on top. In other words Richard is much stronger than Denis. This is armwrestling though and Denis would probably win everytime because he knows he can at least hold on long enough to tire out Richard. I wouldve loved to see someone like Bill Kazmaier get into armwrestling. I think once Bill learned the ropes, he would beat Richard.

You need to be strong "and" have stamina too. Lupkes pulled Denis' arm right down without any trouble for the first 21 seconds. Watch again. Denis is the superior armwrestler, but Lupkes has more power. I read the comment from someone saying lupkes is stronger today than he used to be. That's complete BS.
