I grew up adoring Denis Law as a Manchester United great. Many years later watching this video I now realise what an intelligent man he is, well grounded, extremely articulate and obviously very focussed on his career at the time. Denis was my school idol I had the pleasure to meet Denis at a book signing, I had a picture taken I’m 6ft Denis stood on his tip toes. Top player, more importantly a top human being. The true king of Old Trafford Denis Law, god bless him.

Heartbreaking at the end when he talks about the weight of the ball and now he's finally succumbed to the horrors of Alzheimer's. What a player, absolutely lethal. He still holds the record for most goals in a season for United at 46, and the only man to have 2 statues at Old Trafford. Long live the king, fabulous player, even better man. R.I.P the lawman

Denis Law didn't send them down. United had been struggling for two seasons and losing their First Division status was entirely of their own making. Had they won on the day, they would still have been relegated due to results elsewhere.
