I love listening to your thought processes and insights because you have clearly walked the walk. You speak with an authority of someone who learned the craft organically in the wild, rather than from a book.

In my opinion the best way to learn Rumba Flamenca is to study the music of Manitas de Plata - the founding father.

Enjoyed this video. You have clearly demonstrated that to grasp the basics of any technique is within reach. You just need perseverance and patience when practicing. You have inspired me to learn new flamenco rhythms, so thank you.

Thats really cool youre almost there ! Now you just have to go souther to check the "real" stuff in Andalucia :) It wool be cool if you actually make a video about gipsys while flamenco and gipsy Jazz are very different music in almost everything, the people and the way they actually learn music is identical : kids, families, learning orally, imitating and then forging a personal style

Thinking that you can't predict a good outcome with non standard technique in classical music is a no brainer. Yet, in non classical music, videos and lengthy (yet interesting) explanations are needed to tell students the obvious: to learn music, learn proper technique. Mind blown.

Great video! A video on the similarities between the Japanese language and jazz sounds very interesting.

@denis, Any chance you do a course of this Rumba Flamenco (Gypsy king) style on DC Music School or Soundslice?! If not where could one learn this online?

No. 3 years competent, 5 years advanced. No. Just no. Talent is the multiplier, maybe for you 3 and 5 years, but for the rest of us. I’ve been music school, playing for 40+ years. You might say I did it wrong, but you will never know. Tell me you see ALL your students improve at this rate. I dare you.
