Similar happened with Ferne Britain. She left Good Morning as Philip Schofield got paid more. I hate using "isms" but for me unfair pay is sexism and is often socially accepted due to sexism even if subconscious. I don't know the full story with Johnny Vaughn but I can see how you could have tense conversations around it being unfair you get paid less and feeling betrayed if your colleague went along with it even though it's jobs for the boys. Same is happening all round the country every day. Even the 'boys' think they earned it - would be interesting to see their reaction if women were favouritised by their "mates".

Moral of the story.... Money is more important than friendship. - that fight over money proballey cost them BOTH alot of very happy memories... people don't often think of it like that.

She's not moaning about the money she's moaning that she thought they were a strong team but he didn't tell her he was doing that. Not sure how it could be clearer.

Nah....he can negotiate his own contract. What has it got to do with her? He was the lead on that show and incredibly quick witted. Denise was the secondary presenter. And no, it had nothing to do with gender or anything like that. He was the lead presenter and it was plain to see.
