Dennis probably WAS the bully in his school. As someone with disabilities who got bullied all the time in school, it would have helped a lot if the kids who did it would have just said and done nothing like Sam said. If you want to call that bullying, then what is wrong with you exactly? Should I let myself or my friends get beat bloody without response? So this guy is basically encouraging for children something that would probably get you arrested as an adult. Threatening or stalking someone is illegal and that is basically what bullying is. And considering how important social media is to kids now, online stalking can often be life threatening. So Prager is basically saying he doesn't care that some of the targets of bullying are going to die from it.

Notice he is taking that card about bullying be around gender stereotypes and jumps straight to "boy in a dress" that is not how it usually is. Kids make fun of you for how you sit, how you stand, how you laugh, how you move, liking a "girl/boy" color etc. Having a low or high voice, a piece of your hair flipping up weird one day.

What if a kid comes in with sleeves ripped off his shirt? Are kids supposed to say "He you look good in that shirt?" Because maybe they would. Maybe that guy can pull off setting a trend. Fashions change. Maybe Prager doesn't like it, but why is a guy wearing a skirt any more unusual than a guy wearing intentionally damages clothing?

I used to get into fights with bullies in high school. Even punched a girl once after she harassed and then attacked another girl, then tried to take a swing at me when I stepped in. I was one of those pot head kids who didn't really give a sh*t about social conventions AND I was much taller/bigger than my peers. I found it fun to get in between people fighting or kids being bullied.

"permitted" ... That's the key word in Prager's agenda. He is presenting a hypothetical where boys express an opinion, while talking about bullying. The opinion is not presented as a threat or intimidation, which is the key aspect of bullying. The objective is to equivocate, and confuse the ideas of "permitted" to give opinions and "not permitted" to bully, so that they can convince people that the lefty agenda is to make it "not permitted" to give or even have opinions. The big prize for these people is if they can trick a lefty (or just any person who has any social sense but who doesn't obsess on word choice) into saying "you can't do that" or "you have no right to do that" in a way that can be attached to the idea that it was just "expressing an opinion" that is being talked about. They want to convince people that mores concerning the social inappropriateness of certain opinions, and rules or laws against coercion and other types of threats, are one and the same, such that the left is trying to outlaw their freedom to have opinions, or their right to express them. In reality, their agenda is to do this to those they "other", including leftist political thinkers. They want to outlaw the right of people to express their opinion that racist views are socially unacceptable and repugnant to the concept of equality in a republic, as an example. They also want to make it difficult to enforce laws against coercion and intimidation, because those are the tools of authoritarian oppression. And this entire agenda is transparent in his very intentional use of that one word, which he articulated very pointedly - "permitted."

I wasn't bullied in school for being Trans but for being sensitive. PTSD level stuff. But I got big as I grew older and I got a LOT less sensitive (for good or ill). Now my childhood bully can't see out of his right eye anymore. I feel no regrets for half blinding him and the school knew the bullying was going on and did nothing, this was decades ago, so I wasn't expelled or charged with assault. The school administration put it down as an "accident" with me playing with a metal stick. I can still remember the feeling of standing over him listening to him "deal" with what had just happened. I was able to use fear and intimidation to stop some other kids in the school from bullying weaker kids after that, as I had earned a reputation for violence at that point, although I never actually committed a violent act ever in my life again. I can't even imagine what it must be like to be even more vulnerable as a kid with a trans or queer identity. This guy Prager was definitely a bully himself. He makes me want to vomit. He's straight up giving his young listeners license to bully people who are different and vulnerable. We live in a sick world.

I had to deal with the same group of bullies from elementary school all the way to high school. They turned me into a bit of a psycho to the point that by the time I got to high school, other groups of bullies didn't want to mess with me. I had a habit of beating bullies with whatever I had in my hand at the time, like a lunch tray, a textbook, a desk, etc. In fact, I met my best friend via a bullying event. He was trying to fit in with a group of bullies who also bullied him. One of them tried to mess with me after gym class, so I chucked a textbook at the bully's head and walked away. The gym teacher told me to come back and get my book, but I just casually responded, "It's not mine, it's his. I was just making sure he didn't forget it." and kept walking. Then the group of bullies tried to get my friend to "beat me up" for them. When he tried to make his move, he came across me having a conversation with an idiot I used to hang out with explaining to him that Final Fantasy 7 was not the first game in the series. His argument was Mario 64. Instead of trying to beat me up, my friend ended up getting involved in the conversation and we've been hanging out ever since.

At my highschool, when I was a teen, there were no trans people (at least, at the time, I didn´t know anyone who was or was just not that obvious/didn´t notice it...), but there were a few gay/bi friends/colleagues. No one really batted an eye about it, as far as I know, but you could see they felt somewhat uncomfortable having to keep it in (mostly because they were afraid they would be bullied) or not talk about it (some came out and told me and other fiends, and then it became known around the whole school. That´s why I say no one batted an eye, also because I never saw anyone actually be mean to others because of that, specifically). There was a lot more bullying happening because of height differences (mainly me, I´m short, adult and about 4 foot 8 now, imagine back then) or just being a general dick to one another, just as generally (mostly) male teens are to one another (and then just mutual name calling, talking about eachothers moms, etc)... It was mostly peaceful towards gay people (gays and lesbians). And in college here (public college, paid for by taxes), I met loads of different people, including gay, bi, trans, gender non conforming people (and they are the best kind of friends/people you could meet). There was a guy, who just straight up used dresses (somewhat manly, huge beard, etc), was a really nice guy, offered to drink and party, always, as college students do, and no one cared about what he wore. Wish more people were like that...
