IMO only Moses Malone and Dennis Rodman was and still the Greatest Rebounder in the modern NBA..
@matt_goes_crash2 жыл бұрын
I understand your thought process, however, Moses Malone would get 3 rebounds in one play because he would shoot a bunny shot in close, miss, then rebound, then bunny again, miss, then rebound it again, and bunny again... Rodman wasn't looking to score, so he would rebound and dish out, then rebound off a shooters miss, and so on. So therefor, Rodman was collecting more challenging "reset the offense" and defensive rebounds, IMO.
@LocoAsasino2 жыл бұрын
@@matt_goes_crash you’re right. But that double jump Moses had was elite. Moses the greatest offensive rebounder because of it. He keeps the ball high, layup, misses, bounces like a rabbit gets another lay up. Moses Malone was a scorer too , had a year he averaged 30+ over 50 % fg; and like 6 offensive rebounds. Whatever he was doing was not in inefficient.

Here's a debate: Say Rodman was in a team today.... Where do you think he'd fit best? I'd place him in the Lakers. One thing LA needs is obviously a rebound machine, but more so the fact that AD isn't good at the low post, defensively doesn't give 100% and when needing a PF backup, no one's really there to pick up the slack. LA isn't a 3 point team so good chance the bricks would be falling closer to the rim, where as when 3 pointers are missed they tend to fly off. Although knowing Rodman and how he studied his team mates shots, i wound be surprised. What you guys think?
