Saxon did grow me. I've got a little sound system here in Portugal and the blue print is from listening to Saxon since the early 80s. My dad used to confiscate the tapes as I knew all of Philip Levi's lyrics. Big up father D.Rowe I had a chat with him in his studio in Over cliff one time in the early 2000s.

Big up the Great SAXON SOUND 💯i use to hear about SAXON from about 1982/ 1983 and listen to sound tapes of them.But i was very excited to finally see them play live as a youth in 1984 or 85 Hackney Downs park.i will never forget that day.was very happy to finally see them for the first time.its like i was star struck.enjoyable interview too!

Factory dance in Paddington first time I Heard Saxon what a dance then years later I met a girl who was originally from Bristol her cousin was a promoter I went on tour with Saxon Dennis stayed in the same house with us We did Cardiff Gloucester Bristol it was around 1980s Mikey General was in my car I drove him and couple of other of the guys remember who else

The producers of today are mean & selfish. They DONT give or offer chances to any newcomers in the studios. Ah fi dem place & they're NOT giving no one a chance. Thats why you don't have a King Tubbys Drumille Ave ( Who raised many) or a King Jammys here in England. No unearthing diamonds, no wonder you have these "bedroom" producers who try for themselves today. I've spoken to a couple of established producers who tried to break my spirit & dishearten me & I'm 30yrs in my craft & built my own set up. I respect the yard man dem & the way they ALLOW interested members to sit in & learn. Where do you think Bobby Dixon & Laurel Pinnock & Leroy Thompson came from ???

@@victorvictoriousv5255 V. Rocket may not be on Saxon’s global level, but they are definitely in Saxon’s class which is the UK legends class. If Saxon was honest, they would admit that V.Rocket was one of their fiercest rivals.

@@M446 Stop the foolishness bredda. 4:30 in the morning had nothing to do with it, just admit that Saxon flopped badly. It wasn’t just a one dance, it was a world stage and the “Great Saxon” was expected to deliver and they didn’t! V.Rocket used to hang Saxon too, it was a great rivalry. If Saxon ever decides to stop running from the V.Rocket clash and they make the dance happen, my money is on V.Rocket all the way.
