I appreciate it Kenny! I' happy with most of them. On every larger project there is usually one or two that I'm not happy with. I always make sure they hold though!

Looking good man!! I always drive a nut onto the taps. But they actually make an adapter for taps that fit 3/8 and 1/2 drive. Bought those when I was a mechanic lol

Thanks man! I have a set that I drove nuts onto for tight places where I can't get a drill. They've come in handy many times!

I like it. It's really looking good & coming together nicely. Like you, I like to try to keep my videos short as to not lose you guy's attention for running on & on for too long. Stay safe.

Thank you very much! As for video length/rambling.. I edit out so much bs that I felt was important at the time. If I didn't, every video would be 45 mins! Ha ha. Thanks for watching, and I'm looking forward to more of your videos as well!

How wide are your bales and how much wider is the tongs per bale, so that it does not jam in the width?

Is there any way you could send me a parts list for the grapple you made? The ram, hooks, bearings. The reason I ask is there's a family that lost their father/Dad out of nowhere and they're trying to keep the family hay farm going and they don't have the funds to buy a grapple so I'm going to build them one at give it to them but I don't know exactly what parts I need to build it for them. I would go look at 1 in person to figure out what I need but we don't have farm's in Las Vegas.

Sorry to hear about that! I got the grapple hooks from Agri Supply part number #68279. The cylinder from Agri Supply is a 2x8 part number #87059. I made the bearings out of 1/2" thick Delrin I bought off McMaster Carr. Good luck and have fun with the build!

what gauge steel are the 8" dividers?
@justinmartinez64365 жыл бұрын
Great build BTW!
@DennysCountryLife5 жыл бұрын
They are 10ga or 1/8". I'd go taller than 8" though, maybe 10. Basicall go as tall as you can with them still being a safe distance from the ground on uneven/bumpy fields. You'll be happy you did!
@justinmartinez64365 жыл бұрын
Denny's Country Life Yes sir I’ll go the 10”. Thank you for the reply.

Flux core is difficult to make an amazing weld.
@DennysCountryLife2 жыл бұрын
If your settings are right, and the material is prepped correctly, you can make a very nice weld with flux core. You'll have spatter to deal with, but the weld can be beautiful.
