I had a dental implant done and after 5 years it became loose from bone loss where the implant was inserted. It feels as if I can pull it out with my fingers. In about two days I will get it taken out which is costing me as much as it was to put in. I have a tooth that is missing on the opposite side of the lower jaw and no teeth changed shape since it was extracted 5 years ago. Yes it isn't easy to chew but this time I will have a type of brace that connects both missing teeth that I can remove and insert. My implant experience didn't work. Implants too can have a limited lifespan if the bone mass becomes week around it.

@Luigi Riccardo Thank you for your story. I am try to decide on bridge vs implants and never was keen on implants, so I am going with bridges. Never thought of bone loss and loosening. And your cost!!! What a business...well my doctor told me years ago our teeth weren't meant to last as long as we are living now.

I've had two bridges on the same tooth. The first bridge lasted about 20 year; the second one lasted 15 years.

They definitely favor implant procedure in this video clearly but in most cases bridges probably work fine.

Yeah let me guess you want about 6500 bucks a tooth? They never seem to tell you how much. I’m going through a full mouth restoration one on one side of my mouth the way the teeth were I wasn’t going to spend 18 to 20 grand they have implants put in on that side, I had a dental bridge put on my bottom left prior to the canine one tooth the next tooth was pontiff and the other real truth and then the pontiff and they connected it with my new crown on my canine tooth it came out absolutely gorgeous and I think it cost me for that bridge $6800 the cost of one dental implant when you’re 61 years old and may not live past 70 with the work they do today you only need the bridge to last 15 years anyway and any good dentist can have a prosthesis last for almost 20 years. Give us the price I don’t need a free consultation you guys are all the same, that’s why when you find a good dentist who knows what he’s doing you do it and you can save a lot of money 25 grand is better than 50 grand

I want a dental implant but the doc said bridge as if there is implant it would be just cosmetic and u can't bite on it for eating. And a bridge is good but both left and right tooth from the missing tooth has caps they are not strong so I think my bridge wouldn't work. As my mouth opening isn't alot they had a tough time doing implant . I want them to do implant and not bridge. It's just the lab peontold them it would be good to do bridge .

i had done dental bridge 3 days ago...i regret it so much i cried everyday till now....just now i saw ur video...i regret more...truth be told i can get back my teeth which is already grounded...i hope the permanent bridge will do me good and dont cause problems in the future

@@anatoli6564 yes i got my permanent one last May and it was ill fitting...i got so many problems on my gums...my dentist made a new one last December again which was better than the previous one...but it's been hurting again for almost one week...im going to visit my dentist this friday...i don't know what she will do...let's see

@@babietochhawng Hi, i had done dental bridge last week, i lose my frontal tooth when i was a kid and i had a several bone loss, so i tried make a bone graft but unfortunately didn't go well and my dentist gave me the option of the dental bridge, for now is going very well, no pain and no sensibility, i've got a little scare but i had no other option, the frontal tooth is a really important piece of my self esteem, i hope you get better and dont be sad, everything is going be alright.

@@babietochhawng i'm sorry that u have to pass through this, maybe a channel treatment can help u with the pain, i heard that is very common, i'm using a provisory protesis while i do the dental lightment, i don't know If its gonna hurt after the process, i hope don't. Let me know about how you doing, i know u will get better!
