I interviewed a young dentist who recently purchased a dental office in Linda Vista, California. The purpose of this interview is to get some insight into what it takes to run a dental office and what to expect when purchasing a dental office from someone else. Dr. Torculas gives us incredible insight in this three part interview series.

Even public schools are getting expensive. If you get a bad interest rate, at 8%.. interest accrued can add almost 100k to the principal during school. Corporate dentists salaries have gone down. Even as low as 120k. How can you justify borrowing even 300k to make 120k?

I mean your borrowing 300k once but your making 120k every year until you want to finish. Also salary can get up to 200k a yr.

@@victorthevloggerrr8127 I mean i saw the ‘year-to-end’ salary amount for one of the dentists at work with at corporate, he pulls in $180k/2 days. Been out only 5 years. Another (more unethical guy) averages $7k production a day, 30% of profuction goes directly to him... now do the math for the whole year. I’m in the (saturated) Chicago Suburbs if anyone is wondering.

@@pablito2958 yeah ik dentists usually make more I'm just saying that even if you get paid the bare minimum it's still worth it and makes you lots of money.

Yeah just don't go to dental school if you'd be content enough in another career. My dads been a dentist for 40 years, and even he told me he wouldn't recommend it if I was interested.

To take a dental school you need to take the undergraduate program for 3 or 4 years.So the total Will be more than U$ 400 k

@@GX--X01 It's a piece of paper at the end. You learn more in your first year in dental practice versus 4 years of dental school.
