If I could live my life over, it would definitely include learning and mastering PDR. What a _highly_ technical, fascinating, and rewarding endeavor. Not to mention absolutely necessary no matter how cars advance otherwise.

I'm a pretty good DIYr.. I'm a Registered Nurse M-F and have been looking for a hobby. I came across PDR by accident and have been glued to all the YT videos on it! Going to buy my first kit from Amazon pretty soon Thx for your videos
@tomaszbajer3356 жыл бұрын
edgu71eg I don’t think you have watched enough of PDR videos out there. DON’T BUY ANY STARTER KIT ON AMAZON ! Why ? They are total waste of money... You don’t need a lot to start out, but invest in proper tools, if you want to make some progress with PDR. This looks easy, but believe me when I say it will take lots of patience and practice to be good at it. Good luck and apologies for thumbs down - amazon starter kits are not sth you can recommend to anybody...

Some of the links do not work. But question. Blending hammers. Some I noticed are metal. Metal on paint is no good, right? Or can you actually hit paint with metal hammer and it not mess it up? I guess it works as I've seen techs do this. As a body man who uses hammers to bend metal. They always seem to make a mark! Just saying. Perhaps the tiny light ticks are the key then multiply the hits times 30 ,40 times to blend?

Still using the tools that I built 29 yrs. ago (about 60 of them). They're a shorter now, and purchase many files, rasps and grades of sandpaper. All are very similar to what's on the market, some secret. Still making $ with them.

And how much are they? I bet over $100 for the set or each one. Too much for scrap metal. I can get them for $10 or less at the scrap metal recycler. If you got skills to pull dents, make your own tools, why pay top dollar for scrap metal?
