It's amazing what a Guy can make with a homemade forge and anvil, a grinder, some steel stock, and some good ideas off KZbin. 😊 Thank You.

Doing 22 years now...found a killer thing to use as a knock down/ tapper....the item sells for around 5 dollars and will make a sharp and blunt tapper by cutting in half. Unreal strength, no scratching, and very easy to make.

Brutal crease. Beautiful results. Stunning job well done. Not just bending metal there, that's a bit mind-bending too.

Thanks Ronny, yes this was a tough one and the Do Da really does move a lot of metal whilst minimising effort, the repair wasn't 100% but it was good to try out this tool on this one, Thank you

Wow great video Tom! Must admit when I saw you lift it out and you made that Nasty crease I felt for you!! But you got that looking SWEET! Defo one to watch on your dedicated channel if your new to pdr 👍🏼👍🏼
@LearnPDROnline3 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy, Yeah as I said at the start it may not be the best tool for the job but I've been thinking about getting one for ages so just had to try it out lol. I probably could've opened it up more to start but I wanted to see what the Do da could push, that crease took a long long time and it wasn't 100% but another one saved from the bodyshop :)
@dentremover013 жыл бұрын
I did one today no way as bad as that and you can’t help it lifting like that Kudos

Could you please show the different glue tab materials and colors how to pick the right one
@LearnPDROnline3 жыл бұрын
There are hundreds to choose from but in this video I am using gang green tabs - www.blackplaguepdr.com/collections/gang-green-tabs and high strength clear glue from BLE - bletools.com/collections/glue/products/10-x-high-strength-clear-glue-sticks 👍

Hey mate great repair, any suggestions on what to put on flyers/brochures for a new weekend business, want to keep it simple and not promise the world
@LearnPDROnline3 жыл бұрын
Keeping it simple is usually a good idea, often flyers have too many words and people do not want to read it all so a couple of bold sentences to capture their interest and keep them reading, clear information and honest words and you cant go too wrong however if you do not have much experience in writing copy or branding/marketing, a professional touch could make all the difference!

Just thinking how you can teach other peoples if you cant do yourself? At the start you make mistake with dooda this cause hours to repair and you cant do it 100 or 99% because you using stone age tools which never works well. I would do this dent from start to finish in 3h. Easy. Because special tools and techniques required. 🤝 in this situation you ate totally wrong
@LearnPDROnline3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment, in this video I try out the do da I am not teaching how to use it, it was a lesson for me with a new tool to see how well the metal responded. I say in the video that I didn't get it 100% and in my training video I say that I would do differently if doing again and that the do da was not the best tool for this type of dent. I am aware nobody is right 100% of the time. I learned a lot in this one which is the point I generally try to make, if you are carrying out a repair and it doesn't go as expected the most important thing is to learn for next time and evolve. I appreciate your feedback and opinion
@nikpatel162 жыл бұрын
In his video he does say he's trying it out the dooda, also he was using special tools. Where do you see stone age tools in the video??? LOL

And I would have fixed this dent in 10min and charged only $50.
