Amazing work Martin. As always your talent is priceless. New techs like me learn so much by just watching you. I think we all need to appreciate the effort of making these videos let alone trying to fix a dent of that size, post editing and time needed is certainly not easy. It was also good to see you really didn't use any rods......unless I missed something. lol this was certainly eye opening as I would I have gone in with the rods after about about 1 hrs of reducing work and caused all sorts of push marks. (I guess that's why they call you big daddy of PDR world) LOL Jokes aside Martin....thank you and happy new year my brother. Nav

Top quality repair. The owner got an early Christmas treat getting that dent repaired by PDR as it would have cost a fortune for a new door and the hassle of trying to get the paint matched to the existing panels. You deserve a pat on the back for that one mate 👍👍
@dentremover016 күн бұрын
Thanks for your great comment! Yea I’d say so, plenty of folk think a replacement door and repaint is 3-400 but realistically it’s a lot more for a professional bodyshop job. PDR saved a lot of hassle and kept the OG paint as you say 🙌🏼

That was an amazing repair! Maybe glue a strap above the heavier LTS beam to hold it up if it pops loose? One strap in the middle might be enough because one glue joint will always pop first leaving the other joint and the strap to hold the beam up.
@dentremover016 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Yes I normally do add a strap above as I don’t fully trust heavy tools on doors. I wasn’t expecting it to jump off like it did. I should have stopped when I saw the glue start to come away

Hey Martin, Where can I get that stand that is holding your elimadent light?
@dentremover015 күн бұрын
Hi! I attach the Elim a dent to a pole stand using an adapter called a Medusa ansonpdr.com/en-gb/products/elim-a-dent-medusa-adapter-for-dewalt-battery The stand I got a few years ago and it was from Ukraine so I don’t know if it’s still available. But if you got the Medusa then you can buy a pole to fit the diameter and then make the base? If you look at the link I gave you, there’s other options too Hope this helps and HNY

Great videos. How do you like the JVF tension bar? Do you think it is worth it for my first investment in tension tool? I’m watching all your videos and love your channel. Great work
@dentremover016 күн бұрын
Thanks. Yes I love it, it’s 100% worth the investment. The glue coming away on the tab is user error or complacency my fault
@danielrobinson67195 күн бұрын
I think you mentioned it earlier but arn’t these later jag doors not aluminium?
@dentremover015 күн бұрын
No this was steel- jag and RR like to swap and change panel material with each model- I get confused too!
@danielrobinson67195 күн бұрын
@@dentremover01 wow that’s interesting, personally I think the jag looked harder to do than the white Vauxhall, but you did miracles on both. I enjoyed watching see you on your next mission and Happy New year pal.
