This video should be renamed 'how I do paintless dent repair' because we only see you doing it and essentially learn nothing other that the tools you're using. I suppose that's the idea, though.
@dentremover0122 сағат бұрын
Thanks for your comment. I just scanned through the video to see why you think that, and to be fair I show a hell of a lot more than anyone else does on a PDR video All the areas are explained to the viewer on how a big job like this can be saved without filler and paint. Yes I have to talk about the tools to explain how it’s fixed and I’m not getting a thanks for promoting or talking about the tools. It’s strange how people are quick thump have an opinion which comes across negative. There’s no way a diy job could be done on damage like this to this kind of quality, I’m literally showing the viewer how 2 1/4 panels are repaired with PDR. If you want to learn then you’ll need to go on a PDR course and pay thousands and be prepared to put months of practice in to fix a simple dent. Il show and explain as much as I can but I do this for free and this video alone took 100 hours + to make

Hey buddy If you were to do this dent now, would you use lateral tension? Thanks Tom
@dentremover01Күн бұрын
Hi Tom Yes I think I would now. Lateral tension has really opened up (Excuse the pun) how we can repair complex damage like this. That was a gnarly dent and any additional help to ease the tension in the area will be a plus!

I call bs. Film it without edits, no cut aways. Even if you could flatten and shape back to factory, which I highly doubt, the paint cannot flex that much without showing some cracks. Your finish shows the paint and fender looking as though there was never a dent. FAKER!!! Final finish shots taken before the dent was PURPOSELY created for this video. FAKE!!!😂

Thanks for keeping us posted! I’ve watch all your videos…. Learn so much…. Question..? At what temperature should we apply or put on the pulling tab with glue on panel? I know you do 29c for pulling and 70c for relaxing panel but at what temperature is good to put tab on car skin?

Dents out ....but all the primer and paint inside is scratched ready to rust.This tool should have a cover on the tip rubber or nylon !
@dentremover014 күн бұрын
Thanks Mark for your comment- I do say though that a screw tip (which is rubber coated) is to be screwed to the end before using it? Did you miss that? Also if you do get time to watch the full video or any of my other videos you’ll see these tools in use and I rarely scratch the rear of the panels. If I do then I zinc coat them and waxoil them. Take you 10 seconds to re watch it and see what I said, take you 2 minutes to realise I don’t scratch things!

Another fantastic video. You are by far the best PDR tech on YT - highly skilled + just the right amount of detail and humor to keep things moving. I'm in the US and can't take advantages of your work but I've learned so much! Thank you and keep up the great work.

@@dentremover01 Appreciate that! I'm just a hobbiest facinated by the process. I have used a couple places here on two cars (I'm in Austin, Texas) with one great result and one so-so. This prompted me to look into it more, and found that my OCD and patience maps nicely to the process. 👍 A shop like yours that will take on just about anything is fantastic. (would be interesting to also see the jobs you turn down!) I use PDR techniques to prep metal prior to doing body work on a car I am getting ready to have painted. Just some Amazon tools + some that I made. A lot more room for error than your work. Its fun. If there is a downside to your videos is that you make it look easy, but your explanations really close the gap. I'm truly grateful for the expert insight you freely provide. Sooo many YT primadonnas in this space, especially in the United States! Keep up the good work, wish I could bring you business, but in the mean time I'll keep watching with my cup of brew (coffee) 👍👍☕ Cheers

Hi mate, what’s the reason for sometimes using the bar puller with the glue, then sometimes using the hand held one?
@dentremover0110 күн бұрын
Hi Ross Some large dents require a side to side stretch in order to lift the dent If you get an empty Coke can and press the centre, the ends of the can turn in. You can’t simply pull the centre of the damage out because the ends are holding tension. By pulling on the ends of the can, the dent pops out or tension is greatly reduced

Mr Sadler I can watch every step you do fixing this and I still think you are some kind of sorceror. You deserve to be a pound millionare if you aren't already. You ought to teach courses in it, let's face it Paintless PDR is the closest thing to a perfect trade for a young person to learn that I have ever seen! If I were young and starting over again, P.D.R. is the first thing I'd learn. But I'd probably get busted at some point, and get caught sneaking into the junkyards at night, just to get the practice -
@dentremover0112 күн бұрын
Thanks Robert!! I got a very long way to go until I’m a pound millionaire! I have plans for courses this year once I have everything set up. And anyone at any age can learn PDR. Even to scratch an itch to say you can take a simple dent out! It’s very satisfying
