Running out is one thing. Not wanting to go back in because you are sure you would die is one thing. but to DRIVE AWAY is the weakest thing that I have ever heard.

I don't know how he sleeps at night. Few people know how they would react in life-threatening circumstances. However, this man knows. Every time he looks in the mirror he sees the face of a man who put his own safety before that of his wife and children. Thank goodness his family lived.

All I hear is 'Me, Me, Me!' You'd rather help out some strangers and give them a lift while your wife and kids might be getting shot to smithereens. Just shows how much he doesn't care about his wife and kids. The amount of people that stay with their friends and loved ones when they are injured because they don't want to leave them. I know it's the fight or flight scenario but I would die trying to save my family and loved ones, because at least I tried.

@@thatbooknerdoverthere7899 He said in his testimony that he laid him down in a safe spot initially And when he went to go back he was gone. That’s when the wife found him I guess. It also wasn’t his idea in the first place to be in the rose ahead of his wife and little girl. That ended up happening when people were trying to get out climbing over the chairs etc. and that was safest place he thought at the time. Before I continue, in watching this you would say “well that’s your child, that’s your family, why wouldn’t you go in there?” However I do not believe it’s black-and-white. People handle fear and the unknown a lot differently. And I’m sure he himself, like you or I, have said “ if this ever happened I would make sure this that and the other thing…”but I imagine in that kind of a situation , your sense might go out the door. I don’t give a shit if you had any kind of military background or not , or what you say you would have done sitting behind your keyboard. Truth is, you can’t have any idea what you would ACTUALLY end up doing had you been in the same position.

+Define Ram run jump push pull, i dont think anyone was enjoying the movie that much to stay. its the fact that he did not run with his family, pull his family not anything... hypothetically I would just hope you are capable and around people who follow your every man for himself philosophy. otherwise its a downright tragedy for people who will risk their life to pick you up
@voteZDLR9 жыл бұрын
+Define Ram So you're telling me, as a FATHER, with a newborn child you foolishly took to a midnight showing of a superhero movie, if somebody came in guns blazing you wouldn't at the very least have shielded your child? You wouldn't have covered them with your own body? Like, I get what you're saying, if it was just a little girlfriend of yours with HER kid, maybe. But you're not a man at all if you wouldn't have done what you could to save your kid. You're just a shrimpy little weasle who runs, betraying his family and himself in one fell swoop. How ironic is it that this guy survived while his child and the mother of his child did not. And he did nothing. He will live branded as a coward for the rest of his life. It's impossible to say what one would do in these types of events, but I do think one's instincts reflect on the man, even in this case. Defying death simply to save your own life. Here's hoping you never have kids, and hopefully never take those kids to the movies with you for your midnight showing of a fucking batman movie.
@coolkat48818 жыл бұрын
+voteZDLR I have to agree with you and most of these other comments. Its disgraceful. As a mum I would NEVER leave my children in danger, EVER. I would have died in there protecting them, no hesitation...
@voteZDLR8 жыл бұрын
CoolKat48 I can say with 100% certainty as a man that if I ever had kids I would've probably ran with the kid and jumped the same way he did, even if it meant breaking my legs or arms upon landing, I'd just try to hold on to the child. At least then there would be a CHANCE to save the child from the psychopath in the theater. But I just can't even imagine a father in this world who would give up on a newborn baby. That shit makes me so mad.
@25simimi69 жыл бұрын
I would do the same tbh because I'm a coward. jk. But I am a coward. the only person I could save would PROBABLY be my mom but I don't think I can carry her aunt. she's 72 years old now and she has this back problem... Even if she died of a heart attack I would cry. But if my mom died, so would I.
