LOL the description of the cammed M20 sounding like a v8 firing on 6 is probably the best description i've ever heard!! my '87 has a 323i head and 2.7 bottom with a 284 cam & it sounds exactly like that lmfao ive always had the hardest time describing it but not anymore lol

A clutch switch for flat foot shifting will actually help shift times considerably. The difference for my getrag 265 was massive with the clutch switch ignition cut, do that and a set of tires with sorting the shifter out and this things got 11s in it easy! so awesome Chris i'm so proud of you guys getting this thing complete and out to the competition. Great documentation of the build and the track videos were on point! So stoked for all the things to come both with this car and the other projects to come!

Looks like a cool motor build for a street car at Altitude. I don't like drag racing,but it's entertaining to watch the cars blow up just not my thing. Those Roadkill guys don't respect anything except Old American Iron so they don't matter. That Turbo is impressive though.

That thing is extremely consistent and so is Chris’ driving. Fix that damn shifter and get some R888’s. Sounds like you’re going to take my advice about the flex fuel sensor with some corn. Do it fellas!!!! They should’ve let the e34 touring in. Pretty sweet looking build. Can’t go wrong on the m-pars, although they are pretty heavy for track duty. Is there a build thread or anything on it? I’m interested. Thanks again for sharing and congratulations again Chris on getting this thing going!! As soon as you get everything ironed out I think you’ll be able to crack a low, low 12 into a high 11.

def not trying to tell you how to drive when i say this but ive found the best tech in the burnout pits to be, roast the tires at a stand still to get the smoke rolling then start rippin and driftin around so it just fogs like a mad man. lmao i cant wait for yall to catch more big peepos eyes and get some shout outs! time to add a 2nd turbo 🤔🥇🤔200 shot of the jack stand jimmy special 🤔

1. Launch sooner. If you're launching when you see green, you're already too late. You can make up a few tenths on other people if you get your reaction time down. 2. You need a longer gear rear end. This short gear is not letting you load up the turbo in first. 3. Get Flat shift launch setup on Tunerstudio. It made a huge change on my Turbo LS Foxbody with t56. Like 3 tenths diff to not have to close the TB and get back on it and wait for the boost to come back on.

@@DENVERBEERANDOIL so much potential in that thing. Times really start to drop when the little things start to add up together. See if you can find some small slicks from the civic guys and really let it eat. I’d bet with 2 step, high rpm and leaving in second on slicks that thing 60fts real good.
