On the opening track when Denzel says the woman was abused when she was 5, he’s actually talking about himself. When he made this album I think he wanted to talk about the subject, but didn’t feel comfortable enough to have people know that it was him. Melt my eyez was the first time he admitted that it happened to him

The reason why Billie Eilish isn’t credited was because her label didn’t allow her to be featured, but as both of them have become good friends, and I believe Denzel had her at one of his concerts, they made it a hidden feature so she could still be on it.

TA13OO is so good, I played that album to death in 2018, the album defined a specific time in my life and really helped me get into newer rap at that point. It's so good even tho I might've overplayed it a bit too much at the time lol. Haven't watched the vid yet but I hope you liked it too 🙏

This album came out when i was 18 y.o and i remember listening to it daily while i was living away and working my first summer job in the north of norway. I thought it was the most incredible piece of music back then and listening to it with you now really brought me back. Thanks.

Zilla's verse on Vengeance is so hard, i always turn my speaker up when he comes in. the aggression in his voice and the cadence really make his part my favorite verse on the album and made me check out his other stuff which i really like. and he fits the vibe of the song perfectly. denzel and zilla also released other song with powers pleasent and both songs really show their synergy, they are like "evil twins" :^)

This is the only album that I wanted to add all of it tracks to my playlist and it would've been a lot of Denzel tracks, so i just made a new playlist only for Denzel. Also the man doesn't know how to disappoint and most of his new singles and album tracks goes to that playlist so it was a good decision. Also great video. Loved the reaction! While I prefer Melt My Eyez, this album is a close second for me when it comes to Denzel's work. As to the separation of the track list into three, Denzel has said in some interviews that the sections were made separately and when he was in very different moods. If I recall correctly, "Dark" (part 3) was made first, when Denzel was, well, in a dark, depressed, angry mood. "Grey" (p.2) sort of represents him reflecting on why he feels a certain way, starting to actually try and deal with his emotions. "Light" was made last, with Denzel in a better place emotionally; still very conscious of the things haunting him, but, as a track like "Black Balloons" shows, somewhat hopeful that he can overcome them. In that context, I actually really like your interpretation of "Super Saiyan Superman", where he is channeling his anger into something productive.
