Yes..Godfather 2 was better than 1. Aliens(2)..was better than Alien. Terminator 2 judgement day... was better than The Terminator(1) Sequels can be better than the original. I look forward to watching Gladiator 2 at the cinema either way. Denzel Washington is a legend. I have spoken.

If Ridley hadn't found Paul Mescal there wouldn't be a Gladiator 2. Paul's evolution has been rapid and littered with critical acclaim and awards for a 27 year old. His scenes with Denzel are very 2 handed. Wonder what movies he will do next.
