Have you seen Depeche Mode's Spirits in the Forest movie? This is Erin of NewishWave, and I'm here to recommend it!
You might not have heard of this movie! I almost didn't know about it, but my awesome friend Diana heard of it and took me to see it for my birthday a couple years back. What a great friend!
Here's why I'd recommend seeing this music documentary:
*** It's the first/only (to my knowledge) music doc about the FANS!
*** It's all about OUR (the fans') experience of the music
*** You'll feel all the LOVE about what music means to you
*** The concert footage is amazing too!
Get out the tissues and get ready to remember why Depeche Mode was always there for you on a not-so-great day.

Was very fortunate to be at both gigs that were filmed, an incredible venue, an incredible couple of gigs and of course we saw Fletch for the last time 🖤

What!!?? 🤩 Wow! 🤩 That must've been amazing. I LOVED seeing that footage! So what was it like? Did people know it was part of a future doc and that some special guests had been invited?

⁠we knew it was being filmed as a gig but only rumours of a fan doc. The atmosphere both nights was very special. Plus in between we got to party at Hansa studios! An amazing few days in the sun
