Dependable diesel ute! (New Isuzu D-Max LS-U 2022 review)

Australians love an Isuzu D-Max ute. The dual-cab was renewed for a new generation in 2020 with a development of its existing 3.0-litre turbo diesel four-cylinder engine, now making 140kW (187 hp). Isuzu also did the mechanical work for the new Mazda BT-50. But what is the newest D-Max like to drive? We took one to Outback Australia alongside a Toyota Hilux and our long-term GWM Ute to get to know the latest 2022 D-Max a bit better.
The Isuzu D-Max competes against the Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara, Volkswagen Amarok and others.

I have an 2021 Isuzu dmax LSM with AT 265/75r17 tyres, ARB bullar, Pedders GVM upgrade to 3.45t and Norweld tray n canopy. I have taken it remote and it was reliable. I’m very glad the lane assist can be switched off with the press of one button. When driving on rural roads dodging pot holes and swerving around animals its important not to be fighting the steering wheel!

That's the way it's done these days. The vendor supplies footage of the car, delivers a car of the same colour as their footage to the KZbinr, the talking head does a power-stance in front of the car, speaks some scripted comments to camera, often based on the vendor press briefing, and then it's all mixed together. Sometimes the vendor even supplies the channel with a free car for 6 months for an in-depth follow-up review. (In this case I think the crazy driving was by the presenter.) Fortunately there are a few channels who defy this model. This comment will probably get me banned from the channel again. No problem.

@@goodscore337 Exactly, top 2 car sales are Hilux and Ranger. Modern ute's are excellent, but getting very pricey!
