I've been scammed like 3x but they're all my fault tbh cuz the random user with 0 reviews and 2 items on their page screams bot... Thankfully I got all of em fully refunded

Im verified seller on depop and I get quite a few of sellers hitting me up about randoms dropshipping my items I didn’t know it was called that! Very helpful info thanks

I don't refund until the item in back in my hands but I've found that depop will *ALWAYS* side with the buyers *no matter what* and there's little you can do because customer service sucks

i left depop in Dec due to false item not recd cases. cases were initiated weeks after showing delivered. had pics of post office receipts, packages, and used depop labels. had to refund buyers anyway. luckily it wasn’t too much money.

Had scammers poseing as customer service sayin that the way transaction process has change and need to do additional checks to recieve funds from buyer . It is a scam

i’ve never had any issues with buying only one time i didn’t get my piece and the person deleted the account, but depop gave me a refund so i was still happy. honestly don’t see any issues besides the shipping fees

What I do is ask them to send me a photo off the product with a piece of paper next to it with your username. And if they don’t do it you know he doesn’t have that product.

You will likely be fine! just try to legit check the item once it's in hand. If you sense something off, you can likely return it and get your money back.

i need some help, so i bought some shoes off depop and the guy asked me to leave him a good review so he could get “cheaper shipping” but I don’t think it works like that, so in my mind I’m thinking this is suspicious but I REALLY want these rick owens so I don’t know what to do. Because he could just be sustaining me from leaving me a bad review after he potentially scams me.

I ordered some shoes then I checked the tracker it says it has arrived and when I went to look for it they usually leave it in a parcel box but there was no key or anything and I noticed a small package with a cord for like an Xbox and they where saying that something about their warehouse which I highly doubt it exists did I get scammed lol?
