Near constant back, neck, knee, finger, and toe pain, as well as terrifyingly painful IBS episodes which are quite frequent. Despite that, my depression didn’t really spark until I lost my best friend who I had an unrequited love for (which also gave me PTSD towards whenever a friend acts strangely or distant)

I've got chronic pain in both my legs/back. I'm young 27. My dr didn't know what was wrong. I keep going back with the same complaints. It took a neurologist to figure out through blood work and MRI. My MRI shows disc disease in my spine and my blood work showed antibodies bodies in people with connective tissue disease and my MRI showed arthritis in my jaw joint a long with my spine MRI.

i have low back pain and a ton of other symptoms like cognitive problems, Psychomotor retardation ... i did get an ssri and thank god it at least made some symtpoms better. the low back pain e.g. got significantly better. the cause of my problems is unknown. i dont have serious problems or worry in my life that would explain those symptoms. i now changed my diet and it makes a huge difference but im also grateful for anti depressants!

I am glad you found a solution. The world places a stigma on people with psychologic issues. It is fine to recognize them, as it then allows you to cope with your problem and come to accept and improve your life. Thanks for the comment. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYC6c2tqrLFrnac

@@DraganBocevski i did several things at once so i dont really know what made the change. it took 2 months for me to feel better but the change was really significant so i could pause my SSRI. i almost lost hope and thought the changes i made make no difference. i take 40g of dietary fibre (inulin, resistent starch, apple fibre, acacia fibre, gluthamine) per day mixed with water and drink it, avoid processed foods as much as possible, dont eat sugar, no gluten, no grains, low carb, no alcohol, no lectines, no foods im sensitive to. i basically think i have a microbiome issue. i also take sauerkraut every day. homemade of course. will get a FMT if i dont cure the next months on my own

Please consider reading some of the current research regarding the outcomes of people getting on antidepressants. I hope you’ll consider referring patients to a mental health counselor that will help them get to the route of their problem rather than bandaid it with dangerous medications.

Chronic pain can indeed cause depression through learned helplessness. And I think they should be treated in parallel, both with antidepressants for the depression and seeking the core problem for the pain. Sometimes it is just abstract pain but you don't want to ignore a pain that could be signaling a real issue underneath.

Doctor, I have chronic, inactive inflammation of the stomach and chonique inflammation of the duodenum, and I do not know what is causing me chronic pain in the middle of the back, deep pain from the inside. I also have an irritable colon and an irritable stomach. I had a CT scan and it was normal. I had a stomach endoscopy done and the presence of these infections was revealed. What is the relationship between these infections? Back pain, especially the middle and lower part

Doctor, if you can still see this comment, please kindly respond. I have been experiencing persistent lower back pain for a year now and have tried various treatments, consulting multiple orthopedists and neurologists, but unfortunately, nobody has been able to identify the cause. The constant reliance on pain killers has become exhausting. Could you kindly provide recommendations on what course of action I should take to find relief?

I hate complaining or standing still by things that anger or frustrate me since it just isn’t beneficial. But in this case, feeling weak in your body and constantly having anxiety of doing a single wrong move that just hurts my lower back all the fucking time.. I can’t begin to tell you how angry it makes me, I’m 23 years of age. Supposedly have my whole life in front of me and I feel like ill turn cripple any second that passes. And i blame society, i blame society for not standardizing health care for your own body. They teach you how to walk, but they don’t teach you how to properly use the single thing that literally carries your future. I’m a mechanic, tell me how ill be able to do this from 23-67. I’m not even half way and my fucking spine already lets me down. And I’m talking about work, what about my quality of life? I’m a gym goer, i feel crippled from the only thing that i love doing. Legit want to scream.. i have.. i want to break everything around me, just explode out of anger. Im at a loss of what to do with it…
