My family has finally taken the hint that crying on the daily and my dissociation with the family is depression. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow morning and I'm nervous as hell. I'm always nervous for the doctors.

@@alluringvoice7081 so I've never played roblox. And my doctor's appointment went well. They suggest therapy but de to covid putting therapist like 6 weeks out. They're having me try antidepressants for 2 months. I'm jus glad I could ask my boyfriend since he's gone through this before. And good luck

i want to get a diagnosis but i dont want to talk to anyone about it like my family literally stated yesterday "in this family we dont believe in depression. ur just a little sad get over it" so whenever the doctor gives me the sheet that asks about the symptoms of depression i just check out no for all of them :(

Great to see you raising awareness on Mental health Doctor Nosa. Exercise is definitely important for not only the body but the mind. Having a good support network is also important particularly when things aren't going well.

Nice video... Alot of events around us presently can cause depression. Doctors are not left out of people that are depressed, for example unfavourable working condition, especially in developing countries... The video is helpful.

GREAT TOPIC! The incidence of depression in our medical community is also a concern and we need to normalize it so that people feel like they can get the help they need.

Thank you for this timely video. As an IMG who’s applying for FY program in the UK, I’ve experienced some low mood episodes in the course of my application due to no being able to meet certain requirements. Thank God I was able to recognise the onset of anhedonia accompanied by irregular appetite and sleep patterns. I reached out to my family and a few trusted friends, but above all, the Joy of the Lord filled me each I prayed and/or read the holy scriptures. I’m happy I did and now I feel more elevated

hii so, i think i have either depression or bipolar (not including my other symptoms of stuff only the main focuses) my symptoms are found in bipolar and depression, except for my mood swings that are stress, to much confidence, super low sadness, and high anger. some of them come together at once. so i get quite confused. and i don't want to like- not get diagnosed cause if i get tested and it's negative then it'll be embarrassing as heck. so idk what to do but im thinking of getting tested

@@katelynnc1405 thank you for sharing this with me, im so happy things have been going better than expected, thank you for checking up on me but sadly nothing has changed, my family may know but its exactly how i thought it was, they think i wanna be different. ive reached out to childline before and i got probably the worst worker there, i told them my issues and she told me to fix them myself. at this point im tempted to get a family member to get me a therapist.
