I have family on law enforcement and they are the ones that warned us about issues with police in order to keep us safe. They are good cops. Good cops struggle against bad cops just like the public. We citizens pay the salary of troubled cops and then pay the lawsuits when they violate civil rights and use excessive force. So it's our responsibility to make a difference. Offices of mayor, sheriff are elected and have a lot of control on what happens on their watch. District attorneys are either elected or appointed depending on your area. So VOTE and stay in touch with your elected and appointed to make sure they are the public servants that we need them to be. Because if they aren't? We have to vote them out.
