Hey, everyone. I planned on posting this on May Day, but there were some issues and i was simply unable to do as i previously planned. This also is one of the smallest compilations i have ever done; i am kinda of running out of ideas of socialist (or revolutionary, at least) songs to compile, as some are way too ambitious (The Internationale, for example) and others have been covered by other channels (some of which i have seen commenting on my videos - for example, Ernesto Donato Lamela [ @General Donato ] which has published videos on Partisan Song and Bandiera Rossa with far more languages than what i could find when researching, leading to me to prefer not posting them). If i had a community tab, i would use it for this purpose - but do you guys have any suggestions besides those i mentioned? Should i perhaps remake some of my oldest videos, such as the Warszawianka one, akin to the new style and with new languages? Or should make new, different compilations? @@rainydaysyt9046 It's actually a bit weird. My choice of usage of flags is kinda simple - i flip-flopped back on this "police" to choose what flags i should use on my past videos, but usually my line of thought is simple: if a country has been socialist on the past (as my personal understanding of socialist is), then i shall use its former socialist flag as the main one and the current one in the corner. If the country had a very short or small socialist experience, then i shall not use it (for example, i will not use the flag of the Paris Commune as a flag for France). However, sometimes that leads to... weird choices. For example, the Afghan flag you mentioned is the Soviet-aligned one. However, this song is actually made by a Maoist group within Afghanistan, which directly opposed and fought against the Soviet-aligned Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. Yet, i prefer to use (at least mildly) recognizabe flags than very obscure ones. And since "both Koreas" recognize the entire peninsula as theirs, i think it is only fair to use the socialist one, of the DPRK, when putting songs from anywhere within the Korean peninsula, since i do not recognize the Republic of Korea as an legitimate entity. Kinda hard and weird to explain this kinda of stuff, but i tried my best. That's why sometimes i'll use the flag of North Korea for songs from South Korea and flags of countries that weren't really aligned with the views of the makers of the song (such as the Afghan Maoists).
