Have you ever installed or retrofitted a lithium battery into MJX Hyper Go which uses only 2 AA batteries..my guest is a 7.4 volt would double its range or burn up its board...with new AAs its over 100 meters,but mine does drop off range after a few days of running...Years ago i converted my flysky 3ch 10 model memory radio from using 8 AAs to using 3s lipos...i still use that radio after 12 years and its range is over 300 meters...😊

With few more dollars you can buy any of the LDRC 1/18 drift rc cars models which they have a very nice low end control. Think that you can park them between 2 cars like the real cars tested by me. I am not fun of on-off electronics in rc cars. 30 dollars is very good price but put proportional controls and don't sell the 80s rc toy technology. If we wanted toy rc cars we wouldn't be here. I don't judge the video i judge that still there are on-off technology rc cars.
@DerbyCityRC19 күн бұрын
I’ve got an LDRC coming soon along with some others. “Modding” toys is definitely fun though and made it worth it. My excitement certainly dwindled as I expected it to be better being from jjrc. As people are looking for cheap indoor cars for winter, it’s good people can see if they do or don’t want this, and I agree! Tech is far enough along that adding proportional controls should be all that’s out there. The on/off came as a shock to me and that’s when the excitement started lowering.
@WorkInLight19 күн бұрын
Just don't expect any customer support from LDRC, or parts to be sent in a reasonable time when you purchase them as they won't replace then under warranty, came faulty out of the box and they wouldn't refund or replace the parts. My experience with them was horrendous and I have an NZ$80 paperweight unless I throw more money into it. At least I have a half decent die cast Skyline R34 model, but I could have got one better for much less. I agree on the on/off steering and throttle, it must be proportional or no thanks.
@DerbyCityRC19 күн бұрын
@WorkInLight interesting. Hasn’t heard they were bad. That blows 😢 Ya I do wish I’d known it was non proportional. Figured I had to do something to make it a fun video lol
@WorkInLight19 күн бұрын
@@DerbyCityRC I got a blue and a black Skyline, they are not the same, the black one is far inferior to the other and cost more, it was faulty out the box, and Banggood eventually refunded me NZ$80, so I must apologise, it's a NZ$37 paperweight. I gave up asking for a fair deal as it took 6 weeks to get to the point of the refund. I asked to return it before I even opened the box. LDRC said the board was faulty, I bought another one and find the servo is actually the issue so now need a servo, so another NZ$40 or so extra to get a working car, hopefully. Some of their cars seem fine, the black skyline is a no go, don't bother with them. Have fun my man, I know you always do. Again, thank you for your fast response, bloody impressive mate.

@@DerbyCityRC voltage is the force and amps are the flow of electrons. High voltage is too much force and High amps will equal high heat. That’s what low amps does. Sneaks up on you which is why it’s important to run right voltage.
@DerbyCityRC17 күн бұрын
@haywirerc true. If I remember from the auto tech classes I took 15 years ago, a rise in voltage with the same resistance on the circuit will equal higher amps. Amps are what truly do the work and higher voltage pushes it through harder. Lol Or something 😂
