"So eighties..." And that's, my friends, is why this song is one of the best examples from this decade. Well, for me. I love this song so much that I stole the 45 rpm record's dad. 😋 If I can suggest you, "We live for love".

The drum line was Neil Giraldo learning how to use a drum machine for the first time. He accidentally deleted a bar of his first attempt and liked the result better than what he had originally done. I believe this was the first of the "story" videos made.
@AJ17_2 жыл бұрын
Nope. There were "story" videos before this came along in 1983. Duran Duran was doing it in 1981/82 with several of their videos, most notably with "Hungry Like the Wolf". And way before that, The Kinks did made a promotional clip in 1966 for their song "Dead End Street" with a mini comic book style movie.

This video always reminds me of Tina turners private dancer where she is also in a club like this and says in her song I'm just your private dancer a dancer for money...also the Shirley maclaine film sweet charity where she works in the same type joint guys come in pay their money and pick a girl to dance with.the choreography in the film was by Bob fosse a song from the film you could react to is hey big spender.you'd see them all lined up waiting to be picked.

The saddest part of this music video is how parents can be so heartless to give their daughter an ultimatum and kick her out on her own -- when she's barely 33 years old.
