Derek was / is THE VOICE from a lot of 1970's Nugent songs …43 years later he STILL kikks butt !!!

Shows you how important he was to their success during those years!

@@eldenjr Nugent / Derek are doing separate shows/venues July 27 in Ardmore Oklahoma. Nugent in an old auditorium that seats 1800 people. Worst seat in the house is 128 feet from the stage. Derek will be doing an "after concert party" at a restaurant/club that is about 3 miles away. I wish they were playing together...would love to hear Derek do the singing and watch Ted "strtetch some strings" like they did 42-46 years ago.

I think it's amazing that Derek still has so much of his voice left. There's a little bit missing, but he had so much to begin with that he's still great.

Not quite 6 but I first saw these boys at the Providence Civic Center in RI in 78'. Double Live Gonzo was the album that got me hooked. Mom bought me Pioneer (state of the art at the time) headphones because I wouldn't turn it down 😆 Still go to see Ted every year at Club Casino in NH. Yup, almost 60 and still act like an idiot teenager when I see him play.

God, i wish those two great guitar players would realize they were better together. I love Uncle Ted but his ego is pretty gigantic. I bet they could create an album (yes, album) that could rival of their best. Reinvigorate so they play the venues they DESERVE to play.
