Being a medium skin tone. I love the sheer tinted one even though it take a while to spread . I agree the white cast in the hydrating one is unbearable 😅. With me being oily I go for mineral sunscreen because chemical ones make me burn easily in the sun. The hybrid one does glide easily in the skin, but making sure I don’t burn in the sun is a huge factor to me when it comes to spf.

Can the CeraVe Spf 30 Hydrating Sunscreen Face & Body be used as an every day skin moisturizer, all year long?

Moisturizers and sunscreen are both extremely important to maintaining healthy skin. However, they are different products which serve very different purposes. Moisturizers (body lotion) keep skin hydrated. Sunscreen protects. The ideal time to apply a moisturizer or lotion is before you go to bed after having showered. Sunscreen should be worn throughout the day. Don't use sunscreen with the intention of getting the full benefits of a hydrating body lotion.

I know the importance of applying sunscreen every two hours. I have my teen son with acne-prone skin doing it too. We use tinted to prevent hyperpigmentation. However, by midafternoon, it looks too cakey like he is wearing makeup. Do we have to reapply tinted sunscreen every two hours to get the hyperpigmentation protection or can we use tinted in the first application and then do non-tinted subsequently?
