Hi! Not sure I'll get a response at all bu here is my challenge with sunscreens for my face. Start the day with a fresh for the world to see. Moisturizer goes on, sunscreen, goes, all of the take care of my face products go on, foundation, eye shadow, blush... you name it goes on. Two hours later how do we put sunscreen on over all that? You're mentioned some "all in one" products that are coming onto the market & I'm very thankful. Especially because sunscreen, yes, is the most important. However this can become kinda tricky business. Messing up, gooping up the layers of powder, and otherwise, placed on the face to start the day. Have clients asked about this?

As someone who is always searching for the best budget products, I really thought the Eucerin daily protection spf 30 was going to be great, but I literally have to wash it off my face and apply something else almost every time I use it. It only works (usually) if my skin is maximally exfoliated (before I start getting irritated) and also use no other products (after cleansing). It pills so much. Even on top of itself. I have heard such great reviews of this product from trustworthy derms, so that's why I say, it may not be a guaranteed dollar-well-spent. I love Eucerin products usually, just not that one. Just a note for sunscreen reviews, its super important to note the tone / opacity of tinted sunscreens for different skin tones (light/dark)

I love the tinted Australian Gold too… and use it as a foundation so it allows me to look good as well as protect my skin…it might be a little drying on very dry skin.

What about European brands such as "La Roche Posay" , "Vichy" and "Avène"??

I don't think (?) any of those brands offer a sunscreen under $20 unfortunately 😢

Hi! One of my worst experiences trying a new sunblock was with Cetaphil. My eyes were stinging, it made me cry, i gave it away, I hated it😢

I actually love it. Was very sad they didn't recommend it. Only shows we're all different and no product will satisfy everyone

I am a landscaper and I use straight zinc. I look grey all day, but I don’t care. Anyway, I apply it every hour to 80 minutes, however, it ends up getting grass and dirt stuck in it. Every time I re-apply, I just smear dirt into my face with the new layer of zinc. It’s gross and it hurts my face by the end of the day because it’s like I’m exfoliating. When I get a chance to rinse my face with water, every now and again, the dirt and debris doesn’t come off because the zinc layers are thick and waterproof. I sweat at work so I need something that stays on. None of it comes off unless I wash my face with cleanser. I’m abusing my face all day, everyday. I have melasma so I have to wear straight zinc. What do you think would be a good solution to my problem? Is there one?? Thanks!

Can you guys PLEASE talk about sunscreen staining clothes/leather? How the hell is this not talked about in the skincare community? I had no idea sunscreen stained leather and I just ruined a luxury handbag the FIRST wear with Neutrogena Beach Defense that transferred and left chalky, white stains. This led me down a rabbit hole on sunscreens staining clothes. So many people on Reddit (within the last month) are STILL looking for solutions. Avobenzone in all chemical sunscreens leaving yellow stains on white clothes, Zinc Oxide and Titanium staining leather white - handbags, car interiors, jackets… What’s the solution?

YES! I ruined few good shirts/t-shirts because of sunscreen stain. I even question why the "dirt" on my shirt's collar is not coming out.
@mariecor4801 Жыл бұрын
@@chadlukas Since most sunscreen are oil-based, try using a dishwashing liquid.

@@mariecor4801 thanks! I tried it but in the long run it fades the area (collar) where I used dishwashing soap. But I found Korean sunscreen that has minimal stain.

Your link for the Neutrogena, leads to it costing $29.99, which is a problem for a list of under 20 sunscreens.

I always appreciate the content of your videos and this one is no exception. My five year old granddaughter has Vitiligo. I encourage her to use sunscreen especially on her face. I squirt a small dab on her fingertips for her to apply herself. I’m assuming she’s not too young, but do small children need sunscreen daily and if so do you recommend the same sunscreens as those for adults? Does she need to apply more on the area that is lighter? Thank you for all the information Doctorly provides. 👍🏻👍🏻

Can you guys do a video on the sunscreen rating scale. I’ve been seeing them they were at them from safety not safe. Like goop products not very safe. They talk about like endocrine blockers or endocrine disruptors or something like that. So what are safe sunscreens?

Hi Docs, can you suggest sunscreens for the body, which can be used like a lotion not just the typical sunscreen.
