Even with a salicylic face wash it doesn’t eliminate pores which are what fill up with sebum, sweat and dust. It’s a myth to believe you can shrink or even eliminate pores that’s simply impossible as pores serve a very important function. @@Nightbird. I don't have small pores, but I do have 25yrs experience in skin, I'd get a second opinion if I were you because if your pores aren't closing or at least shrinking after removing the filaments there could be another reason for it. Skin repairs itself and if it isn't there could be an underlying issue
@Nightbird.6 ай бұрын
@@princessmimithepug6719 Ok..I think I know what the confusion is here. I wasn't speaking of filaments. I was speaking of pores clogged with the usual oil, dirt and debris. Filaments are supposed to be there. Sebaceous filaments are thin, threadlike appendages that line your sebaceous (oil) glands. They help move an oily lubricant called sebum from the glands to the surface of your skin. This is done to protect your skin from various elements. They should not be removed. I'm an ex-model with 30yrs of skincare experience and I have the same dermatologist that Cindy Crawford does..so trust me when I tell you his information is accurate. You are just very lucky to have smaller pores after cleansing them properly. Congrats!

Use cleaner with salycic acid, then use a cleaner with Benzoyl peroxide right after. Helps clear out pores. Use a toner after washing face. Usage depends on the type of toner. If the toner has alcohol in it, keep the usage to roughly 3x per week or you'll dry your skin out. You can use a different toner to help balance out your skin and keep it hydrated. Shrinks and clears pores Always use a moisturizer to protect skin. Use one that has SPF during the day. Sun ages and damages the skin and makes pores look bigger. I'm not a doctor (spitting this out off the top of my head from what I've learned). Double check my info and come up with a routine that works for your skin.

@sanchitagolder6 ай бұрын
biore strip won’t perfectly take out the filament, it’s essentially a part of your skin. the times it does, and every time anyway, it is ripping out skin with it. i believe you don’t love inflamed skin. cherry on top, even if you do it for blackheads and whiteheads (which aren’t part of skin and kinda just loose extra) that pore will fill back up in the same way it was formed before - but this time there’s a bigger hole so it’ll fill MORE - which you remove, the pore gets bigger, and yeah it never fixes, now your skin has pore strip addiction 💀 the best way to remove pore gunk is chemical exfoliation. it’ll be slow, but that space will slowly fill in to its naturally elasticity w collagen and ceramides and yeah, just don’t fw sebaceous filaments without a professional if you actually want results and like your skin
