I noticed over 8k subs but 100 or 200 views...he has the wrong audience 8k should be pulling in more views. I want to know what you tell him.

One point I wanted to make...when she said about the comment section, It took me a while to separate my emotions from the comments. As humans we accidentally feel like its personal but really its just people making an opinion which then actually helps your engagement because its creating a community and conversation!

I think something just clicked watching this: if your channel is stagnant, then forget your core audience and try to dispose of them by pivoting towards a larger more broad generic audience based on things newer larger audiences like, not what you think you like as a creator or what your core audience wants from you. Question is: is it better to start a new channel and start over than trying to revive a stagnant dead channel?

It must be difficult creating content you you feel good about, that other people want to watch. You don’t want to be somebody who tells people what they want to hear for profit, if you are an ethical person. What people want to hear and need to hear are two different things. You can tell I don’t make KZbin content yet. I want to be true to myself, I don’t want to sell anything, I won’t be controlled by popularity. How can someone like me create content that doesn’t just attract trolls and derision? Would it be a waste of time?
