I was born in 1950 in the Brandywell. Thank God I had a wonderful childhood there and in Cable St. We had good ,decent neighbours ,especially the Murray's . We had Meehan's park in front of our home in Cable St where my younger sister played every day. When I grew up I could go to the dance hall in Muff ,Co Donegal on Friday nights by bus. When I was left off the bus in Patrick St; I could walk home without any free what so ever. Our back door was forever unlocked but God rest my beautiful mother ,she never went to bed until we were all home. Derry was such a safe place to live then.

I was born in Derry/Londonderry in 1947 and lived there until 1969. This film is so nostalgic.
