​@@jenn976Honestly it looks easier and faster to clean that way. When it's attached there is more bending. The way he did it I can just take it off, clean it and rinse it it in the shower. Quickly wipe the base. Reattach it and I'm done. No bending while I scrub the lid, the seat, under the seat and the base. Then wipe everything off. Working around the screws.

Same here, when I have something on my mind I would strip the whole place down, it drove my husband up the wall because it always happened at night while he was asleep, he would wake up and the whole place had been moved around, he always said it’s just as well he was not Steve Wonder. Until my disabilities caught up with me I was a thorough cleaner of my home and caretaker of my property when I wasn’t working as a nurse. years ago I started experiencing repeated low back injuries with repeated surgeries which didn’t help for more than 3 months each. I was forced to retire in 2009 due my condition, declared permanently disabled 11 years ago and since then I have had 3 hip replacements including one last fall where I fell in the bathroom 2 weeks postop and shattered my surgical upper leg and knee, requiring reconstructive surgery with a lot of metal and 2 months of in patient rehab and 1 month of home rehab. I am still working hard to recover the use of my knee and am in chronic pain worse than before. If we could afford one, I would hire someone to come in and clean my house but we are both on Disability and make enough to pay for the necessities and not much else. Sir, it really does my heart good to see the way you value your home.

I wouldn’t even know how to do it, let alone be able to put it back on again, I just wouldn’t have the strength in my hands~ this is definitely a man’s job. @@verenamaharajah6082 taking the toilet seat off is very easy. Underneath the seat and on the toilet bowl itself, there are two knobs. There’s one on each side. All you do it twist them counterclockwise to unscrew them. The seat comes off easily. To diagnose him with OCD is not fair at all. Maybe that’s how he was taught by his grandmother. You were a housekeeper. There’s always room to grow and learn new things.

I just love watching this guy cleaning his home and enjoying it. What I have learnt from watching him, is that as he cleans he is not thinking he is doing this for other people to not judge his messy place nope, he is not at all doing it for peoples approval. I think that is the root cause of us not enjoying cleaning our space or feeling overwhelmed by the thought of what you need to do. What steals our joy and motivation for cleaning (because generally we all love clean space I believe) it is the heavy burden of "what will people say if I don't..." that may get us to get up and do the task but it robs us for the enjoyment and the tranquillity this man right here has while cleaning his space. From now on, I want to inherit this mindset whether cooking or cleaning or whatever mundane task, I will do it for the pleasure I get at the end of it. It is a blessing to be able to do things for yourself because you are physically in good health to do so and we take that for granted. Thank you brother🙏🏽😇🇿🇦

This is a BIG no thank you for me. The reason -- foot fungus! Don't go spreading that nasty stuff to me. Lots of people DON'T wear socks at some point -- if they have it they bring it to you. Up to 70% of people get some kind of foot fungus in their life. 3-15% have it at Any given time.

Either he has really bad OCD or like many have mentioned he truly takes pride in the cleanliness of his home. He is definitely a minimalist. I wonder however if he was always like this or if he was actually taught by someone to be like this. Either way is fine by me, it's just beautiful to see how someone can turn their home into their own private sanctuary not only for themselves but for all come to visit them. That’s a deep clean! Once thru 3 months is all you have to do depending on how many people live in the space. The rest of the time, it’s semi-deep cleaning. It’s easy to maintain your home if you follow a schedule. This guy has it down to a science. His home not only looks wonderful but I bet it smells wonderful too!

I call him the cleaning guy lol I learned a lot of little tricks about essential oil use on this channel. Got my house smelling like peppermint from his hint on dabbing oil on cotton balls and in the vacuum to release that smell. Dude is the man!

🙌 Yes! If there is the smell of smoke in the house (burning food), mix a few drops of Orange essential oil in some baking soda, sprinkle it on the carpet and let it sit for 5-20 minutes. The smell will be out of the carpet. I put a few drops of orange essential oil in water in a glass container and pop it in the microwave if I burned popcorn in the microwave-and it helped.

I’m born in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and even if you are not wealthy and live in a shack…the young men are taught to keep the home clean…even if one owned “A” white T-shirt… it’s ….always clean! 😆

This guy is my spirit animal, and I wish there more out there like him. Only thing that would make this better is seeing more disinfecting/sanitizing cleaners and bleach used. I like seeing the steam used cuz steam can kill a lot of germs and bacteria and viruses, but I also like disinfectants and sanitizers as well.

Taking the toilet seat off was next level. On my Spring cleaning list but I'm pretty good about cleaning the toilet, etc. To do a deep five cleaning set aside 3 hours. It's a workout and well worth it. Coffe is my jet fuel, and music ❤️🎶

When I remarried, my husband agreed with our newly blended family now living in my house because it was bigger( we rented his out) that he would pay for a cleaning person bi- monthly. I knew that three teens sharing one bathroom could not be cleaned once a month. I took 2 boys and one girl and gave an hour demo on how a bathroom would be cleaned properly and they each had to take a week when the cleaning person didn’t come. To this day my daughter in law tells me our son cleans the bathroom better than her and my former son in law told me he could never clean the bathroom the way K wanted it done! Kids need to be shown, not just cleaning but how to sew a button, balance bank accounts, boil an egg. Etc. this man is going to make a great partner
