Wait, how do I know "I think therefore I am." How do not not know that something or someone else is doing the thinking for me, and I am not just observing what thoughts they or it laid out before me to observe? I observe therefore I am?

You're doubting it, proof!😂 Even to think that is to affirm that

Ya know what Video game actually explores existentialism? Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind. In the Story Vivec one of the 3 living Gods discovers that the world is a dream by the entity known as the Godhead. When you discover this you have 2 options. You can say, well then i dont exist. And then you stop existing and zero sum wich is what happened to the dwemer who vanished in an instant when they built the Numidium. Or you can say, no I Exist in spite of the fact that i am a dream. Then you achieve Chim and become a lucid Dreamer like Vivek and Tiber Septim who become Gods.

It seems so much philosophy goes back to the ol' know thyself. The last thing you said about having self knowledge is very applicable to just simply living. A lot of people treat what goes on outside them, the world like such, and its knowledge, as the most important thing which will shape them as a person. The externally driven self fulfillment. Of course, the world has its place in our lives - but I wouldn't say it's what makes us into who we are. Sure, it gives us a run for our money, and sure, it will challenge us; but self involvement and honest self examination, when we consider our soul and our character, self-knowledge, the "I" - they are what will carry us through this world and the next. Look at the poor, the homeless, they have only themselves - worldly knowledge will only tell them where to go, where not to go, where to sleep, where not to sleep. It won't give them the strength to carry on. Do you think they care what someone supposedly well versed in the world, like Andrew Tate (lol), has to say? No. People in truly desperate situations turn to sources which provide something worthwhile for the self and the soul. There's no better example for this than the Bible. Of course, this might not be the sort of knowledge you're talking about, but it did get me to thinking at least. As usual, I appreciate the video and insight!

I do not understand why you do not mention the devil, in this particuliar video. I reckon that it is wrong to always talk about him, blaming him for our own sins and so on, but regarding this very topic, it is truly relevant to speak about his influence on our mind. He is the one behind our doubts, don't you think?
