No it was just stupid that Maleficent couldn’t even get to be a badass dragon. The creators basically just wanting to subvert expectations just to disappoint everyone. But from a visual standpoint, the other movie is better. Descendants just simply doesn’t remove the most famous part of a character, which is good for storytelling, but not really quality cgi. It’s decent I guess.
