Well I made it home safely with the mega rucksack (handling was hindered 😂) and the damaged fuel tank. A nice bit of kitchen roll stuffed near the leak served me well. This weekend was a blast, if you want to see more be sure to check out my Instagram!

I have to admit I really like the four strokes much better. no smoke and they are much more pleasant sounding. and I would guess they have gobs and gobs of torque.

Really enjoy your channel, especially these scramblers. Last week, I acquired a 1967 Triumph Trophy T100C, original except for tank and maybe the handlebars and lack of speedo. Got it from the daughter of a vehicle collector who'd owned it since the 70s. The frame, levers, pegs, frame, and those gorgeous scrambler pipes are unblemished so I suspect it was never ridden off-road. It still has the original Triumph Energy Transfer ignition system. The bike starts right up---- which isn't bad for a 55 year old battery-eliminator set-up. I put about 10 miles on it, riding very gingerly on severely dry-rotted Gold Seals. Changed the fluids, took the wheels off, had new Dunlops mounted, and installed new shocks this morning. Tomorrow the wheels go back on, along with new low bars, petcocks, and an air filter for the Monobloc. I have a couple of questions. Do you have any experience with the ETI system? Also, I plan to use the bike as a commuter, and am wondering if there was a more modern front end that would swap? Anything from the 70s on up with a good disc brake. Thanks!

Well, I find myself watching this again, so much fun, it looks better than the Malle Mile I did this year, I am know thinking of getting something like this going where I live. I live near Salisbury Plain, maybe a B'B for guys who want to come down for the weekend, Thanks for posting. Coleman Customs.

Hi Steve I’m in Poole and in the process of building a solo triumph off road bike and already have an outfit so I’d be interested in any thing like this in our neck of the woods Bob

Cool as! When the No. 27 came through in his white T shirt, I thought yep, this is living the dream, we used to do stuff like that back in the 80's, I had a mint TS250, it was a tank, but a brilliant laugh. Great camera work too - cheers!!

Great weekend mate, awesome footage. Shame about the tank but you were able to ride a couple of great bikes, the Metisse 350 was lovely. Best wishes, Dean.

Just to let anyone know in Spring through to the end of Summer, I am going to do B&B for people who want to go to Salisbury plain, I am only 10 mins away . its not expensive to stay over the weekend. your bike has to be road reg for the plain. ie number plate on the back of the bike. and its got to be Insurance ,but you don't need lights .KIWI

What sprocket ratio do you run in the field, and what ratios on the road? (You mention "changing out the back sprocket - 10:20ish)

Would've been great for a bit of commentary as to the performance of the Metisse and Smoken Aces suspension compared to yours. Great watching old POM stuff running off road. Cheers.

How does the 350 Metisse compare to your 500. Does the chassis make up for the smaller capacity?
@ColemanCustoms2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you asked... Absolutely, the metisse handled impeccably and I'd argue that I was faster on it due to its handling. The 500 was great for spinning the back wheel round tight bends with its extra power but the metisse was much easier to carry speed on. Time to upgrade my triumph suspension at the least!

I'm sick and tired of seeing the riders view over the handle bars. Show the bike in action not just the riders view.

There's no film crew. This is a one man band production. If your riding you can't be stood trackside filming as well.
