With the cast they have, a healthy Watson and Chubb makes them a real contender. The talent on this team is all in their prime. Yet they have been growing into veterans of the sport. This mix of athletics and experience is the perfect timing for a playoff run.

There’s no doubt in my mind that the Browns will make the playoffs again this year! We have a Phenomenal Defense and an Offense (on paper) that should be almost unstoppable! The 2 things that hurt us the most last season was injuries and Dumb Penalties that either cancelled a Big play on Offense or have the opponent a first down to keep their drive alive! We fix those things and we should be in contention for a Super Bowl bid! Go Browns!

The biggest improvements we can make to win the division do not involve Watson. #1 eliminate the amount of turnovers. #2 run the ball better. 3.9 YPC is not playoff caliber running game. Draft Trey Benson to solve problem #2. Chubb may not be back until week 5-6 Problem #1 can be solved by staying healthy at QB or just protecting the ball from Watson/Winston. The interceptions and pix sixes killed us. We led the league in turnovers for most of the season. Just halving those numbers will help the defense.

Im a die hard Browns fan for over 30 years. I love my Browns,but im completely honest about them. Im not convinced Watson can be a shadow of his former self. Hes 4 yrs older and has had several more injuries since his 2020 version. He hasnt shown me much! I hope he proves me wrong,but i havent seen anything that leads me to believe he will. The defense was good, but not as good as the numbers said. They beat down a few really terrible teams that padded their stats.Held Arz to like to 58 total yds and Tenn to under 100 yds. Did a good job for the home games but got torched on the rd. Gave up a ton of chunk yds.

Do you think that schedule was for him to miss 5 games? I don't. Because last year on exit media day Kevin stated that they expect to have NC for the entire 2024 schedule. The normal timeline for a normal non-freak athlete is 10-11 months of rehab. NC is a freak. So go ahead and believe those who present the worst-case scenario. It's not the only scenario. You could and should temper your hatred for the man and his success and then maybe your heart will be pure enough to see past the rage you feel. You might have a heart-attack when he's out there week one.

why is none of these browns fans talking about how hard it is going to be to beat the steelers, arguably have the best defense in the nfl and a decent offense, with a rising star in Pickens, and a underutilized pat Freirmuth, one of the best TE's in the league. also Justin Fields and Russell Wilson are arguably better than Deshaun Watson. browns got an aging Amari Cooper and a decent wr in Jerry Judy, David Njoku is decent but not as good, and not as good as other tight ends like Freirmuth, Kelce, kittle, Dallas Goedert, Mark Andrews, you get the point. they also have arguably the best running back in the league when healthy. I am not saying the browns are a bad team. if they want to win they need to win now, same with steelers. and both teams are in the best division in the nfl. Deshaun Watson is holding back the browns, and that is a fact. the browns still made it to the playoffs with a 40 year old Flacco. if the browns had a good qb, they would be leathal at this point in time.

The problem is the QB. Browns fans still think that they have the Houston Texans DeShaun Watson. They don't. They have the below average hasn't played a full season in almost 4 years, broken down, DeShaun Watson who's a shell of the old one. Aside from 6 quarters of football, Watson has been awful since being traded to Cleveland. Like, bottom 8 QBs awful. And even while he was amazing in the second half of the Ravens game, he was complete dog 💩in the first half, so take that 1/2 game with a grain of salt. Add to it now that he's got a surgically repaired throwing shoulder and things aren't looking good for Watson. Could he turn it around? Sure. But odds are what you've seen over the last two seasons is what you'll get with Watson. Add to that, the Browns defense really was a tale of two teams....a home team and an away team. The home defense was phenomenal. The away defense was bottom 8 in the league (350 yards per game). Unless they fix that, or convince the NFL to give them 17 home games, I don't trust that D 100%. Add to that Myles Garrett's annual disappearing act after Thanksgiving where he goes completely MIA, and this D, as good as it can be, still has something to prove.
