Love that MOS Tech shirt! I visited the old MOS building last year, what hallowed ground.

I already have the vintage C128 book (it's great!!!). I stopped this KZbin vid an bought Back into the storm. It's a pitty, that there are no signed books available. I really love the c128 and Bill Herds KZbin channel. This interview is great. Thank you all!!!

As someone who owns a C128 signed by Bil Herd, this could *not* have been more enjoyable. I made it about a couple minutes in before I was ordering this new book, and I can’t wait to read it.

The C128 is very dear to my heart. I did so much with mine that I had to get more of them because I had one running a BBS, then I had 2 running that BBS both sharing a Lt Kernal Hard Drive System using a Multiplexer which created some issues which an Amiga 2000 Resolved later on. Had I been able to lock the hard drive during writes the Amiga would not of been necessary but I had a how room full of Commodore 8 bit Computers that the Amiga was able to replace so it solved a space issue as well. I remember the Plus 4 and at the time I thought it was a cool system but I never purchased one until a few years ago just to have it in my collection and I have 2 of them one is 100% working the other is 90%. I also have a 128 and a couple 128D's in my collection along with a 42U Rack of Amiga's and other toys not to mention a couple of VIC20's and a bunch of C64's which I brought back to life. Many people say why bother and I say why not? When I turn on an old classic it brings back so many wonderful joyful memories where as Modern Computers are ok if those die I would just toss them but my old babies I would resurrect them.

I'm listening to this while building a bus control module for my 65C02 Ben Eater computer, to make it more Commodore 64 like. I'm adding bus control registers memory mapped at $00 and $01, the way the 6510 did, to control bank switching, and implementing bank switching for RAM/ROM and the IO area.
