Does the heat gun bend keep its shape forever if you use the cold water trick, or will it eventually lose its shape of it sits long enough? I was wondering for something like 1/6 shoulder armor that can't be glued into shape. Thanks!

ABS can be heated/cooled many times, so it should be ok. Check out 'thermoplastics' for more info. Hope that helps!

Thanks was informative, what is the name of the plastic you are using and the thickness ? Do i just search for " sheet plastic......want to use it to build parts for 1/24 scale model cars.
