In the circuit diagram why did you connected Q1' as clock why don't u connected Q1

If Q1 is connected to the clock it will become an upcounter. This is a down counter so we connect Q1'

@@chavanitinsaichowdary8088 In asynchronous counter, there are four possible combinations . 1. If clk= -ve edge & Qn then counter become UP counter. 2. If clk= -ve edge & Qn` then counter become Down counter. 3. If clk= +ve edge & Qn then counter become Down counter. 4. If clk= +ve edge & Qn` then counter become UP counter. these we have to remember, or we can check these all possibilities by making waveform and analyzing them.

it will not maintain a 0000 state, counter will count 9 t0 1 states only
