God I know Shein isn't clean, but you worked so hard on the project for six months that I can't have the heart to say anything about it. I myself used to buy Shein clothes cuz they were cheap, practical, I didn't have any money to pay me anything else and I wasn't aware of anything. Even if it is Shein for now, you're currently rising to the top and it's only a matter of time other companies will offer you opportunities to do other collections. Don't take this the wrong way tho, but I was kinda bummed out when I realized the clothes are going to be produced with SHEIN... their reputation is ahead of them and has time after time proven to be mild, compared to how bad they really are for the environment and fashion industry on the one side, and even for the consumers on the other hand. Their clothing is produced in the cheapest ways possible, exposing their workers to hazardous working conditions. And of course I'm aware that most mainstream fashion brands and clothing labels somewhat fall into that category... but Shein basically being the absolute No. 1 in that discipline makes me not purchase items from your collection. I know your creative work has nothing to do with that - and for real, all the love - but I felt like letting you in on how I (and maybe other people too) feel about that collab. Much love
