That bench is so cool ! I see it not only as a seating area, but also as a sleeping area and a storage compartment. It's almost similar to a sill which is usually situated by a big window.

Thank you! It was originally intended to be a reading nook/storage/seating area, specifically designed to fit Cooper's crate (which he doesn't really use anymore haha). But a sleeping area is a novel idea! Time to slowly look for cushions... (;

@@simplybychristine that's what I visualize because I don't think a bed is necessary and it's kind of ideal for me to lounge and sleep by the window if not on the floor. I always dream of living alone and experiencing minimalism.

Came out great❣️ congrats! I put the lamps in my home on remote control outlets & the remote stays next to my bed. It was such a great purchase from Home Depot. Enjoy the rest of the projects.

You can level up and use outlets on wifi , i use it myself so acces true smartphone

Aw thank you! The majority of the bench was built out by my friends, but I needed to finish the rest. Most of my woodworking "skills" has been self-taught, with a lot of trial and error. The cushions will also come in time (; Haven't found a good solution yet but excited to!
