Hi Danielle, Jo & Billy - Please allow me to wish you all a very very Merry Christmas ! I hope Santa is good to you all ! The best Christmas present from you, in my opinion is doing these videos for us fans! I greatly appreciate them and can listen to the three of you talk 24/7 !!! I believe the Lucy De Barin book "Are You Lonesome Tonight" came out in the late 80's but don't take that as Gospel, as i'm not positive! I personally don't believe any of these people that claim stuff like that is true! Like Jo said in this video , Elvis couldn't keep a secret ! I'm the same way, if i hold on to something for more then 3 hours, its a miracle! I remember once as a child, my dad got a big job promotion at work and he was told he got it on Christmas Eve - and he told me about it at like 6 pm and he wanted me to make the announcement at Christmas Eve dinner, when we had all my aunts and uncles and cousins from both sides of the family there! Luckily i only had to hold it in till like 8:30-9pm LOL !!! I still remember that night like it happend yesterday, and it was probably 42-43 years ago ! maybe more! Anyway, I again wish you all a very Merrry Christmas !! Please keep me in your thoughts & prayers , as i've been pretty much laid up in bed for a week now with my back and a couple nerve roots that swelled and are causing intense pain - we are trying to get it knocked down so i can enjoy Christmas with my family, especially my niece!! God bless and Love ya all - Charlie

I think Linda Thompson in her book said he was frustrated and embarrassed by the end of them. However, I love that she encouraged him-telling him how much she loved seeing them growing up!! @ I’m sorry you are being harassed .I think the “fandom “ has made ppl lose their grip on reality , or understanding of how big a deal giving up your genetic makeup is . Tbh , I don’t know why these “children” don’t test against each other . If there is a random match between all of them , it can be determined if they have the same father . They wouldn’t lose out on not matching as they all could claim the other is a hoax , but if they did match they could use it to their advantage . I feel bad for the people who did believe Elvis was their father , and actually tested against a good source of dna, only to find out their mother was lying . (I mean , why wouldn’t you want to believe the woman who created you and raised you?) There have been a few in the past that believed , and made a hoopla on their journey , once it was determined false, all media was deleted about the subject out of respect and finally finding the truth that they were not related . (I’m talking about that guy in Kalamazoo Michigan , who actually looked like Vernon a little bit) Then there are the ones that continue on with conspiracy theories that the test was rigged that are just disrespectful . I kind of chuckle to myself thinking “how could Elvis have so many children , while being with “the guys” all the time and no one remembers any of these women ?” 😂 I’m not saying it couldn’t happen , but dang , the woman all these ppl are asking for is private herself , she asked you herself, you declined, she was respectful and let it go , but complete strangers seem to think it’s ok to harass you in defense to a woman who hasn’t really been aggressive herself . I love your channel, and I hope people chill and realize that you don’t have to entertain us for free, or give up dna ….

He did everything he could to make everyone he knew happy, here below, materially, and affectionately, mentally ill, morally, and in the flesh, he worked like a convict, under the yoke of Parker and P Beaulieu, to provide for everyone, without ever complaining, Truly Beloved ELVIS is a gift from God///// I will have so much to say!!!!!!! there are major questions about the poem that are ignored. For one, the author said, in 1987 that he wasnt allowed to show the poem on t.v. because someone might image capture it and take it for an independent handwriting verification. The EPE wont allow it stuff may be a cover story. Also, they will not say how many handwriting experts were asked to authenticate it. Geraldo said he knew that at least a dozen other handwriting experts received a copy. So if a dozen or dozens received it and 5 verified it, what does that mean. I dont know, just this is how critical thinking works. They call us naysayers or worse over there for raising these questions.

Many reasons why AYLT is a work of fiction. All these people commenting wanting the Smith's to give DNA have formed emotional attachments with the story. A lot like Mills & Boon readers from the 80's. Many facts Joe on his channel simply glosses over, calls some evidence 'smoking gun' when it is circumstantial at best. The people who knew, worked and accompanied Elvis know nothing of Lucy. Her version of Elvis being able to put on a fake moustache, a hat and able to walk into certain places to either pick up Lucy or meet her somewhere are laughable.

Very convenient. I saw her interviews in the '80's. No French accent. So why use a couple of French words when talking to Elvis. I'm from Louisiana by the way. So are my parents. Why does Billy not want to give a DNA for Desiree? I am 73 years old, I grew up thinking I knew who my father was but he denied it even though he had another daughter that looked so similar to me. My situation was kept a secret most of my life. People do have secrets, skeletons in their closet. Desiree is a beautiful girl and so was her mother. I think she looks enough like Elvis to be his daughter but no one is willing to help her to know for sure. I don’t understand that.

She should take an Ancestry DNA test. It separates your maternal and paternal DNA for you. She should hire a professional genetic genealogist to do the research for her. I've been working on my family tree since 2018 and tested. Using my matches, I've made a lot of progress on most of my family lines. The reason I say she should hire a professional is because she may not have a paternal match closer than a 3rd or 4th cousin. That means it would take her some time to research and a professional would get it done much faster. They even have groups on Facebook with "search angels" who do this for free for adoptees. She could have started this long ago ( as I said, I've tested and have been researching my tree since 2018 ). As for the Smiths, I'm sure they can't be bothered with all of this. Why should they be bothered? They have their own lives to live and as I have said, she can attempt to find out who her biological father is if she did what I said.

HERE IS MY OPINION on those bringing up Desiree "Presley": 1) I used to recommend that "other" channel because Billy Stanley was on---- no longer going to do it. 2) He allegedly called out people around Elvis in Desiree Presley Part 3 and allegedly called out the Memphis Mafia and/or those close to him: "They were only there for the money and the ride." Who was he talking about? 3) He also allegedly addressed it to those who said, "Nothing positive about the man who gave you a platform and made you important-so shut up." 4) There have been many people claiming to be the child of Elvis but could never prove it. 5). In My opinion, Desiree looks nothing like Elvis. 6) Who made Desiree a Presley? Who made Lucy a Presley? 7) Riley and Harper, if anyone---should do it. Billy Smith does not have Presley DNA; he has Smith DNA, Gladys's maiden name. However, in my opinion, this was debunked years ago. 8) This reminds me of Dee Presley going on national TV and allegedly lied in my opinion. 9) Billy Smith and Jo, in my opinion, are two of the few people who are honest about the Elvis legacy. 10) I have not heard Billy/Jo make fun of Billy Stanley; my understanding is Billy put himself into stories/situations where he was not there from my understanding, and the Smiths clarified. Also, Danny Smith did a video tribute to Rickey Stanley. 11) No hate, just the truth, and in my opinion, I love Billy and Jo. 12) My opinion is the other channel needs to stir up stuff, and he needs content for the KZbin channel.

I believe Elvis met Lucy in 1953 Billie would have been just a young kid and maybe Elvis didnt share things like meeting Lucy. Desiree wasn't told til after Elvis died even though it was suspect when she was growing up. Her mother wrote the book for her daughter not for her to become famous ( it's a beautiful love story whether you choose to believe it or not, it is possible) she wanted to protect Elvis' image and herself having something like that exposed in the late 50's as Desiree was born in 58 would have certainly put a bad mark on him and his career as he was just breaking into the music scene. he wasn't even told about it but she was planning on it but unfortunately he passed away. There's alot to the story with some proof that Lucy did have a relationship with him even though they may have only seen each other a hand full of times they remained friends throughout his life even speaking with him on the phone in August of 77 Please have an opened mind and READ the book. Desiree just wants peace of mind by doing DNA she's not after anything what can it hurt if it's not true then it's not true but what if it is. Maybe Elvis really could keep a secret lol have a great day love your channel not meaning any disrespect to anybody❤

You are so right about this. If I remember correctly, Lucy did not claim that she and Elvis saw or talked to each other consistently over 20 years, but that it was more of a connection. I didn't know her and don't know Desiree, I don't know if the story is true, but I do know that Desiree looks VERY much like a combination of Lucy and Elvis and she does have every right to know who her father is (or is not). It's appalling that Priscilla and Lisa so callously denied her that right. And it doesn't seem like it would be a big deal for someone in the Smith or Presley camp to offer a DNA sample. They need to put themselves in Desiree's place and what it must feel like to not be able to know for certain who your father is. So I believe you're right, that it's simply about her peace of mind.

@@marjgates5882 Agree! It just cruel that Priscilla, Lisa, and the rest of them have denied her that right. But let's be honest about something else, IF the story is true, it was also cruel of Lucy to keep it from Desiree. I feel sorry for any child whose mother would do that.

Elvis worked a lot to prepare his movies which are far from being similar. "Flaming star"; "The trouble with girls"; "Frankie and Johnny" to name just a few very different movies with a very different part for Elvis.

I left a comment and I’m not sure why it was taken down that Ginger said she was going to go on tour with Elvis that you lied and made everything up. I’m not saying that she said that she still saying that I believe you that she wasn’t going on tour, but she saying she was
