Wow, I can’t even lie, I’ve seen every single table saw/workbench on KZbin. This one is by far, the absolute best one by far. The attention to detail does my OCD so good and just the craftsmanship alone deserves a subscribe, like, and an extensive comment. Well done my friend. I’m looking forward to building one of my own soon, and I will be using a lot of the same ideas as this table. You are an artist and a craftsman of almost unparalleled skill. 110% grade score in my book. Can’t wait to binge watch the rest of your channel. Thank you for the amazing content. As I was watching, my wife asked what I was going and I simply replied “watching the absolute best video there is on KZbin, I’ll be here for a few more minutes” hahaha 🤣 😆

I do not agree at all to this. After using it for 2 years now I can clearly say how impressed I am by it. In a small part the lacker was been sanded away from sheets being pushed on it abut that was very easy restored with some lacker and now it look brand new again. Because it is made out of real oak (5mm i think), i can just sand it down and put new lacker on it when i want to restore its former glory :) I do not regret using hard wood floor boards on it at all!

This was a really nice job. I built a smaller rolling table for belt sanders and grinder. I recommend using a long vertical board on a hinge that moves out of the way for rotating the top and back under to transfer load all the way down to the base of the frame. Over time the latch you used may creep and with the board you can actually pound on the top with no worries

I'm just as new to this as you are so I believe anything is possible if you just set your mind to it. I did create this work bench in Sketchup and was working on it for a very long time trying to figure out each step if it even was possible to build. In the end I felt ready enough to give it a try and it turned out way better then I hoped it would :) Having a great surface to work on make all other jobs so much more fun to do. In the bast I have always worked on the floor... felt it was time for a change.
@SophiaAphrodite4 ай бұрын
I just watched someone who merely had the miter saw drop down and you drop a board in the place. I thought if I did it I would make it flip over. But I felt was out of my abilities I noticed a craftsman's skill with wood has a direct correlation with their tools. The skill comes from learning how to use them.

I'm not sure what "spruce trim" is but i assume its the board i put around the bench to cover up the transition between the floorboards and the plywood. Yes i wanted to skip it to but the transition was just so ugly that i had to come up with something to cover it up. The "spruce trim" are now in the way when I want to install a bench vise so I have to come up with a solution for that. Thanks for watching the vid!
