Wonderful! For years I used to say “I want to not want” so a very apt topic 💪

The word "desire" would ideally be replaced with expectation. Using your example of wanting to win a game, strategy will be sharper without expectation. If the game is lost with our best foot put forward, hallelujah. God had other plans.

Sir, a thought is arising. If I try awarness meditation all the time although the chance of enlightenment will increase but if it doesn't happen, the three months will be a waste. Better try something skillful that'll give measurable success. What do you say sir?

Do not hold such expectations or think it will be a waste if you don't get what you expect. You can't cause enlightenment to happen no matter what you do (no measurable successes)...so don't worry about enlightenment. Just practice for its own sake.

Okay Sir. But is there even chance of it in 3 months?

If you don't like my original answer, asking the question again in a slightly different way will not give you a different answer.

Sir my exam is over 🤭 and now I have ample of free time. And I am thinking of doing awarness meditation for hours daily, if by chance it hits enlightenment. Should I go ahead or it won't work this way?

If that is what you want to do, do it.

@@NondualityChannel so there is this amygdala response that we triggers what we call fear. does that no longer work in u?

@@edgardginessilva9433 The brain is capable of fear, but it just doesn't arise due to a different understanding. Most all fear is learned, so it should not be a surprise that you can unlearn this.

@@NondualityChannel is there any way to beat a specific fear prior to that understanding?

Here is what I did prior to enlightenment...work with that which is feared and become familiar with it. Delve into that which is feared. I did this several times prior to enlightenment. I overcame the fear of heights by bungee jumping. Climbing an 80-foot tower and jumping off got rid of my fear of heights. I had a fear of public speaking and being in front of an audience, but that disappeared after a couple of summers being a street performer busking by doing magic tricks at fairs.
