Sir, is knowing mentally that I am not this body or mind okay? Or I have to see it?
@NondualityChannel Жыл бұрын
Mentally knowing doesn't mean a thing...it's worthless. See it so completely that it is knowing in your bones and being that you are not the body or mind.
Sir, is the main purpose of diminishing the me, to make the awarness and silence more profound?
@NondualityChannel Жыл бұрын
It is to see the false as false.

In my view, the recognition of Self in singularity, during the time* (*although there is no space or time therein) identity-less presence is in that state of being in active cognition, the dualistic or material universe disappears, unless of course we can bilocate awareness, as Swami Lakshmanjoo had observed, ‘with each breath, the universe appears and disappears’. As for enlightenment, who gets enlightened, when there is no one here, in as a separate person? We may say the disappearance of ego (identity) reveals Self, which always was always was and is but not known to the entity who is not.

I feel that people probably get caught up on the term “Brahman”, particularly those who didn’t learn about the term until they began seeking. It can sound like a foreign, sparkly mystical term - and I imagine is therefore at risk of being idealized - but it really just means “existence”. It’s anything but foreign. Realizing Brahman just means intuitively/ experientially realizing one of the most obvious truths, if not the most obvious truth, that there is: That the most fundamental reality behind everything is existence, or beingness. And put differently - that everything, including our localized conscious awareness and ego, on the most fundamental level, is existence/ energy, and is therefore fundamentally the same. Perhaps it is more that this truth is simple, rather than obvious. It’s obvious to our intellects, but not to our experience. At some point, simplicity and obviousness seem to begin having an inverse relationship with most people. And the truth is so incomprehensibly simple.

I really don’t understand what its meant by Brahman, it’s causing confusion. Am I Brahman or god the omnipotent creator of the universe or I am Brahman or god the son. Can someone explain ?
@NondualityChannelАй бұрын
Brahman alone exists...omnipresent, omnipotent. Creator vs son is a duality that does not exist.
@MiguelMartinez-js4qeАй бұрын
But I’m not the supreme being GOD the creator of the universe. I am the god the son. You are implying I am the supreme being all powerful creator. That’s radical and outlandish to imply that I am the creator GOD. I may be one with the creator but I’m not the creator. I don’t think Rupert Spira would imply that I am GOD the creator.
@NondualityChannelАй бұрын
@@MiguelMartinez-js4qe You keep implying a strange duality, separation, and otherness. It is very simple...Brahman alone exists and there is no other. The "I" is fake and an illusion.

@@NondualityChannel no spiritual teacher would say that I am GOD the creator only you would say that. That’s blasphemy how can you declare your self GOD the creator, that’s insanity. I'm not going to lie, I hope this is not true for one reason: reality is going to be as lonely as it gets. If everyone and everything is really just one thing then that means you and I and everyone reading this is the same self, and there is no us. No family, no friends, no loved ones. Just a single consciousness playing pretend with itself sounds very depressing.

LOL. This video has been my lived understanding and experience since 2005 and I don't find it lonely or depressing at all.

@@NondualityChannel I'm glad you dont but if I am to understand this correctly, you just used the words "i" and "my" to explain to "me" something. If this video states what I think it does: "you and I" are not even talking to different beings right now, it's just one thing speaking with itself pretending there is someone else. Family and friends might as well be viewed as sock puppets, there is no one else in existence. I cant imagine how this could be comforting.

@@peacecraft3449 The conventions of speech and pronouns can still be used. I/my/me is not an identity...they just refer to the body-mind.
