This has been a blessing to see. Im a father of a 5yr old girl & a 2yr old boy. I’ve been married for almost 8 years and I’ve struggled at times getting back on track of fasting and reading more of the Bible. Today was my first day to doing so, 2025 I made it for me to stop procrastinating in my walk with Christ. I have always prayed, but not fast as much. I have read the Bible, but somewhere along the way I slowly stop reading as much. I want to be a better follower a Christ, a better husband to my wife, & a better parent to my children. Thank you gentlemen and please pray for me.

My beautiful husband has just made that turn around,he even stopped watching Hollywood movies and that's saying something since he's a baby boomer raised on TV and a big movie buff. Recently he started watching some of the programs that pulled the scales from my eyes through God and is on fire for the Lord. I know he can do it for you❤

I love pastor John and I think he's spot on. The only thing is my children have grown in a very conservative school and church and there is a lack of love in church not the worldly love but the love of the God. The church has lost its salt in how it loves. Christs love is self giving and sacrificial and the church do not want that. My daughter has been so lonely and no church group of kids want anything to do with her. She's loving and talkative and friendly and loves God and in the church she is despised. Not just one church but in every church atmosphere we've been too. My daughter's not perfect but truly the same thing as when we were young, no love,no true love. Discipleship starts with a deep love for the well being of someone else over yourself and that is absent.

Best parental example in my childhood and teen years.. each parent had spiritual hunger... and a ' God-Ward - ness' in life.. in decisions, there was a home culture that God is God and His Word is true. -- Then.. very importantly.. Dad would say... periodically, .. "God has children, He has no grandchildren".. we each were accountable to God. Additionally.. and importantly.. the family culture was.. You are responsible for your own behavior and life. ... Those ingredients... made a culture where The Lord was welcome... and each of us 4 kids found our Life in Christ.
