Psalm 37:4 says Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. I believe that "the desires of your heart" are actually the Godly desires that God puts into our hearts through our transformation (as opposed to material possessions we may want to obtain). God bless!

This is great truth. 'Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.' How do we do this? 'Beholding the glory of the Lord, we are transformed.' May the Holy Spirit help us to do this.

For the word of God is living and active ,and sharper than any two-edged sword , piercing to the division of soul and Spirit ,of joints and marrow and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart ,and before him no creature is hidden ,but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Love is one of the greatest Gifts.Some people accept the Mercy that you can give while you can give of your self.But some will not forgive from the heart.You cant help people all the time.To be involved in the being ministered to.That being important for our own Spirit also the Love of God and the Love of Christ Jesus in the Spirit.And the Lord God does change the mind and the heart repents and the Surrender to God to the Spirit.

Our soul needs continuous miracles in our mind so that our desires change, otherwise we are dominated by our bad desires that appear again and again. And that process necessarily needs one to identify them in order to repent. Being the word of God like a true laser beam that goes through us examining the deviant intentions of our heart.

When are the reformed teachers, or as John Macarthur claims prophets, going to rely on the Holy Spirit? That is what Paul said. but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; Ephesians 5:17. The reformed teaching created Carl Jung. Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!

Does anyone know what other preachers present the Gospel like John Piper and Paul Washer? I can handle the truth of the Gospel, but each man's presentation is so animated and the tone of voice is one of anger and lack the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and self-control. Just my opinions folks. I do listen to Dr. Charles Stanley.

I agree there’s a process involved here but I don’t believe it’s suppose to be a long long long long process I think we believers make it a long long.long process .The believers by staying in the stage of carnal prolong the process, just like the Israelites when crossing the desert after coming out Egypt . There is an expression that we tent to say a lot “ I crucify the flesh everyday everyday excuse me it’s suppose to be crucify or dead along time ago right??
@jennacoffey48455 ай бұрын
Nope. The apostle Paul said “I die DAILY” with regard to the crucifixion of the flesh. Throw out everything your carnal mind thinks.
