Holiness is the transformation of the heart, Spirit Within, because the image of the Christ is within you, meaning, that the sinful nature within yourself is removed from your heart, if you get closer to God your heart is in a less sinful position, not further away, if your heart is further away from god how then can you be close to God, to be close to god within, is by the spirit of God, not by your sinful nature, holiness is the transformation Within, this is why Christ said, the kingdom of God is like yeast in dough, it is like a seed that grows into a great tree, this is spirit, it is the spirit working his way through the whole body, it is the spirit working his way through your whole heart, the reason why John Piper goes against his anger in what he was saying concerning his family, in the situation at hand, is not by a he decision he made, it is by faith, because he believes in it, he believed not to do the sinfulness that is in his heart, in this the spirit is with him producing his righteousness, he has not produced it by his own decision or his own power, this is salvation, it is the power of righteousness, without the light you have none, this is why Paul said, it is no longer I which does it but sin that lives within me which does it, meaning, he separated from the sin within, so when it risers you see it for what it is, there is a discernment, meaning, you are not the sin that rises within you, you are the sin that rises within you when you produce it, but if you do not produce it you are not the sin that rises within you, because you are in opposition to it, in this, the light must be in your life but this sin must also be circumcised, because you cannot live with it because it is suffering, because the heart in itself is not right with God, even though word and deed is Right with god, see, the reason why man's good works is like filthy Rags, is because the good works in themselves are good but the man is full of sin, because he is not being made good because good is spirit not flesh, you simply know that you are being transformed because you see changing in your life for the better, concerning faith in love, you simply produce it's fruit and you'll see the sinful nature and the things pertaining to the flesh being circumcised from your heart, you simply live in the presence of God and you would recognise it because there is a peace and a love in your life.
